Embark on a private 3-day, 2-night journey to the Merzouga desert from Ouarzazate. This adventure begins and concludes in Ouarzazate.

The journey kicks off at 08:00 AM with transportation in a private 4x4 vehicle, minibus, or minivan, depending on the number of participants sharing the reservation. The driver guide will collect guests from their accommodation and head towards the Merzouga desert for a two-night stay. Accommodations include a comfortable hotel, a luxury camp, or a private tent with a bathroom.

Day 2: Merzouga - Luxury Camp - Merzouga

Erg Chebbi Dunes - Day 2: Merzouga - Tour Around - Visit Nomads - Gnawa Music - Camel Trekking - Luxury Camp.

After enjoying breakfast and a restful sleep, the day’s activities commence at 10:00 AM with a private 4WD vehicle tour. Guests will visit nomads behind the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, enjoy tea under nomadic tents, and learn about their lifestyle. A brief rally over the sand dunes follows, then a visit to the Mifis mountains where mineral extraction is still practiced. The journey continues to Khamlia village, home to a community known for playing Gnawa music, an African rhythm. After experiencing the music, lunch will be served at a restaurant featuring Berber pizza. Post-lunch, guests return to the starting point to relax before embarking on a camel ride into the desert dunes. A one-hour ride leads to the luxury camp, where sandboarding, sunset views, dinner, and Berber music await.

Day 3: Merzouga - Ouarzazate

Ouarzazate - Day 3: Merzouga - Alnif - Ouarzazate.

Rise early to witness the desert sunrise, followed by a Berber breakfast. Return to the starting point in Merzouga village, where guests will switch from camels to a 4x4 vehicle or minibus, depending on the group size. The route back to Ouarzazate passes through Alnif.

The trip concludes at the guests’ accommodation in Ouarzazate in the afternoon.
