Friends vacation - Last week I went to Marrakesh with my girlfriends. We were picked up by Tarek (working at is time tours). While taking us to our riad, he shared information and hotspots about Marrakesh with us while driving. Furthermore, he helped us very well with booking various tours and we regularly called him to taxi us somewhere. All in all, we felt very comfortable with Tarek and we liked that he was concerned about our safety. Thanks again!! Greetings Katja

8 day tour - We booked an 8 day tour seeing Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Fes, Marrakech and the mountains and desert outside of Marrakech. Or driver Soufian picked us up at the airport and was with us for the entire trip. He was really friendly and punctual and helped us with some local needs (like buying an extra bag or atm stops etc). Some of the drives were quite long, but we stopped whenever we wanted to to take breaks and sometimes to see cultural sites. It was really great to have such a friendly driver who was able to answer questions when we had them and also allow us to relax and rest on the long drives. We also had local tour guides in a few of the cities, all of whom were friendly and informative. It’s a lot easier exploring the Medinas with a guide who knows what you are looking at. We also had guides for our two hikes in the Atlas Mountains, which turned out to be necessary as the trails are not very obvious and they can explain about the local villages as you go. The hikes in the Atlas Mountains were some of the best parts of the trips, so I highly recommend being sure to do those. You do have the opportunity to buy things a lot of of the market stops and even along the hikes (especially if you get a demonstration of a craft like rug making or leather good), so that’s just something to keep in mind and be prepared to say yes or no based on what you want to do. I do recommend doing a little bit of research on restaurants to try in the cities, as there are a lot of options. Abdel (our tour organizer who we worked with virtually) we able to make any restaurant reservations we asked for. Generally we found all of the hotels we selected to be really nice.

BEST experience imaginable - To say this was the best experience that you could do while in Morocco is an understatement! Professional, light hearted, knowledgeable, and fun driver and tour guide led us from the city and into the desert on the most epic road trip of a lifetime. From the food, to the people we met along the way, to the beautiful and impeccable camp we were led to in the Sahara, to (especially) the hosts, you could not re-create this experience if you tried. If you’re considering this trip, DO IT! You won’t regret it. If ever back in Morocco, I would be ecstatic to do this again. It truly was specially curated to craft an experience of class and adventure. Get out of the city and see the countryside of this incredible country.. Thank you so much for the fond memories that I now cherish and hold so dear to me! Missing it!
