Great Fun! - Fantastic 90 minutes of storytelling. We have taken part in many ghost walks in York, Edinburgh and Prague and this one is up there with the best! The two gentlemen hosting were entertaining and theatrical throughout which helped set the scene for each of tale. They also did well to deal with some disruptive locals without breaking character! Highlight was the dead house which really set this tour apart from the others. Great way to spend an evening with a teen. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone considering it.

A great way to spend an evening in Liverpool - Our 2 guides were in character from the moment we arrived and provided us with a fun and scary tour. Such a great (and different) way to spend an evening in Liverpool. Highlight had to be the visit to "The Dead House" at the end. Loved all 90 mins of this tour.

Skipping, dancing, green demons and a trapdoor - just really good, silly fun! - A ghost walk like no other I’ve experienced - hugely entertaining hosts, brilliantly performed with enthusiasm, humour and some excellent dance moves! The ad-libbing with the general public added to the whole surreal adventure - laughed so much it hurt. Thoroughly recommend and hope to return for another tour soon!

Amazing, must - do experience - The 'auld city and dead house' tour was absolutely amazing, our hosts Indiana Bones and James Vagabond really brought the tour to life (and death). An absolute 'must-do' experience if you are in Liverpool,

Amazing ghost and history tour - This is the second tour I have done with Shverpool. This time I went with my mum and we had a fabulous time. Chilla Black and Indiana Bones were amazing, funny, scary and informative in one tour. Would definitely recommend and will be going again !!!!

A birthday to Dismember - What an experience! For my daughter’s 14th birthday, we decided to take a walk on the dark side of Liverpool’s history with Shiverpool—and what a spook-tacular decision it was! From the very start, the tour was a masterclass in immersive storytelling, seamlessly blending eerie atmosphere with razor-sharp wit. The ghostly hosts were nothing short of theatrical geniuses, delivering every tale with spine-chilling conviction and a devilish sense of humour. Their ability to weave together history, haunting, and just the right touch of dark comedy made for an experience that was both gripping and wonderfully entertaining. My daughter, usually unimpressed by anything that doesn’t involve a phone screen, was utterly hooked—and that in itself is a supernatural feat! Every corner of the city seemed to come alive (or undead?) with fascinating folklore, ghastly legends, and hidden history that even locals might not know. The production value of the tour was outstanding, with perfectly timed scares, eerie soundscapes, and a host of ghastly surprises lurking in the shadows. If you’re looking for a tour that’s as fascinating as it is spine-tingling, Shiverpool is an absolute must. It was the perfect birthday treat—one that will haunt our memories in the best way possible. Five ghostly stars!

History, ghost stories and laughs - great! - Absolutely fab tour. Really good fun and very interesting mix of Liverpool’s history, ghost stories and laughs. Our 9 year old daughter loved it (though the dead house was very scary beware!)

Goblins to the front, darlings! - We visited Liverpool for three days and this was the the best 90 minutes of the stay. Our guides were the Brothers Grimm, Indiana Bones and James Vagabond, they were in character and joyfully reminded everyone that the final curtain is just around the next street corner. Be prepared for tails of gruesome and dastardly deeds on the streets of Liverpool. Oh and don’t be late darlings!
