An amazing adventure to remember! - We booked a nighttime bioluminescent kayak tour with Cocoa Kayaking and it was absolutely magical! From the very start, the communication was excellent — booking, confirmation, directions, what to wear and bring, even waivers were all handled smoothly online ahead of time. We met at a lovely, well-maintained park with free, convenient parking and clean restrooms right by the launch. Our guide, Michael, was fantastic — knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience fun and educational. He shared so much interesting information about the local area, islands, and the bioluminescence itself. The clear-bottom kayaks were great for seeing the glow and the water toys provided made it even more fun to agitate the water and see the effect. Our small group included kayakers of all levels and Michael made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. He and his assistant were always close by for questions or help. The water was calm, shallow, and easy to navigate — perfect for beginners. The glow of the bioluminescence was even cooler than we’d imagined! Highly recommend Cocoa Kayaking for a unique and memorable adventure — we’re already telling our friends about it!

Amazing experience - rate 10/10! - Captain Michael was AMAZING! He was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. He was great at explaining step by step what we were going to do and why and then guided us appropriately! We were amazed at the bright colors we were able to see. He also was kind enough to share a location we could go to watch a rocket launch the next night. I would highly recommend this tour!

Amazing, very cool, fun trip - Jeff was an amazing tour guide. Fun and professional. Loved his knowledge of the area and the mangroves. He showed the best spots to see the “bio”! Great time was had by our group. Highly recommend you request him for your tour!

Nice evening with the family - My favorite part was the fish! When they swim they disturb the bioluminescent plankton so they appear as sudden streaks or slower moving orbs under the surface. So cool. Michael was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, laid back, and fun.

Night time fun! - We had an amazing time doing the sunset bioluminescent tour. Jeff and Susie were awesome! They helped my wife feel comfortable, as she has not kayaked much. We found the fairy dust and plenty of Comb Jellies all the while Susie and Jeff were telling stories and making sure we were having a good time. Highly recommend this tour and Company.

Kayaking with Cocoa Kayaking - Our family, 3 generations, went on the Clear Bottom Kayak with Captain Michael. He was excellent. We saw families of manatees. horseshoe crabs, and bioluminescent comb jellies. Captain Michael was very knowledgeable about the area and the species we saw. The kayaks were easy to paddle and maneuver. I would highly recommend this trip for families. Captain Michael takes many photos and sends out the link.
