Fun tour! - Luisa was a great guide and we all enjoyed the tour! We didn’t have a lot of time in Merida so this is helped us get to oriented in the city and better understand its history.

Fabulous tour with Ximena - The tour was great. It’s not too much walking as the historic area is quite small, but nonetheless very interesting and packed with information. Ximena was wonderful as our tour guide - funny, knowledgeable and passionate. Also very helpful with local food recommendations. Highly recommend this tour and Ximena.

Thanks to Max! - Max was so knowledgeable. I really appreciated his views on art and the cultural aspects of Merida. It is clear he is a patriotic Yucatecan. I would highly recommend him to anyone! His English was excellent!

Walking fun in Merida - This was an excellent 2 hour tour with good information and not too long. Our guide Ximena Carrillo Andrade was so knowledgeable and made the tour a lot of fun!

Max showed us Merida. - It was very good. We got a better feel for the history of the city and the region, as well as places to plan to visit for food, where to shop and not shop, art., etc. The history, culture and treatment of the Mayan people by the Mexican government was of particular interest.

Eduardo, our guide, was... - Eduardo, our guide, was awesome! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Mérida and showed us the best parts of the city. Would highly recommend taking this tour to get an introduction to Mérida!

Learned a lot about Merida and Yucatan! - We had an excellent experience! Tour started at 9am and ended around 12 noon. In those few hours Luis covered an incredible amount of history, culture, geopolitical influences and a host of other topics. We are not new to traveling to and within Mexico, in fact have been doing so for over 30 years and yet we learned a lot. Highly recommend this walking tour and if you can get Luis, you will learn a lot!
