Great Intro Class for Embroidery - This is a great activity for solo travelers. Not only was the host informative, but she was patient and enthusiastic about sharing her craft. We were given supplies to complete our projects, and directions to nearby shops to buy more supplies if needed. What a great way to support local artists!

Lovely workshop - I had a great experience and might have a new hobby! The workshop begins with an explanation of the history of embroidery in Mexico and what the characteristics of the style are. Then we practiced a bit and I got to work on my piece. After the workshop you get to take yarn and the piece with you to finish it at home. I left with a big smile ☺️

I was unable to attend... - I was unable to attend the workshop because I could not find it! I was given 2 addresses, I went to both places, and no one was in either location. As a matter of fact, the buildings were both locked up. I am heartbroken that I was not able to learn this embroidery method. I would like a refund. I also strongly recommend that directions include a photo of the location. Mérida is a confusing city, even for the Uber and taxi drivers I employed. 😔
