By 08:00 a.m., the journey continues to the first destination, Chichén Itzá, which is a 2-hour drive away.
- Chichén Itzá - Upon arrival at the archaeological site, entrance tickets are purchased (please note that this access ticket is not included in the tour and must be paid upon arrival, either in cash in Mexican pesos or by card). Two hours are dedicated to exploring the archaeological site with the guide. The most important monuments are visited in the following order: the Snail Observatory, the Ossuary, the Market, the Group of a Thousand Columns, the Castle, the Mayan Ball Game, the Tzompantli, the Venus Platform, and the Sacred Cenote.
- Cenote Ik Kil - Next, the group boards the van and travels to the Ik Kil cenote, a 15-minute drive away. Entry is direct using the bracelets provided by the guide. Lockers are available for storing belongings, and there are bathrooms and showers for changing. The use of the included life jacket is mandatory. It is important to wear a swimsuit and water shoes (if guests do not have water shoes, they must enter the cenote without shoes). A total of 1 hour and 30 minutes is available on site: 15 minutes to change, 1 hour to swim, and 15 minutes to change again (it is important to bring a towel).
- Hacienda Xaybe’h D’Camara - The next stop is 15 minutes away and is the restaurant at Hacienda Xaybe’h D’Camara, where guests have 1 hour to enjoy a delicious buffet with a variety of Mexican dishes. Food is included along with a drink (fresh flavored water).
- Izamal - Finally, the group travels to Izamal, a 1-hour drive away, for a guided tour of this magical town. The visit includes the convent and the main square. Known as the city of the three cultures, Izamal combines the pre-Hispanic and colonial history of the state while reflecting contemporary life. While walking its streets, guests will notice a curious detail: all the houses are painted yellow with white. Here, there are 20 minutes of explanation with the guide and 40 minutes of free time in the main park.
- Viajes Colibrí Yucatán Tours - The tour concludes at the same meeting point where guests were picked up in the morning, between 06:30 and 07:00 p.m. The return time to Mérida from Izamal is 1 hour.
