Navigating the Mendoza River, in the charming town of Potrerillos, we are encircled by stunning vistas and the commanding view of the dam. Every individual is equipped before we begin, and post the safety briefing and conveyance to the start site, we plunge into the river to soak in the experience. The rapids, reaching up to levels III / IV during summer, add to the exhilaration of this adventure, making it undeniably memorable.
- Minimum age is 12 years
- Activity duration: 1 hour of river navigation, half day excursion
- Note: no experience necessary. however, be aware that during the summer months, the rapids on the river are Class 3/4
- Important: Although the activity is half day, the transfer returns only in the afternoon; You can take the afternoon off at Potrerillos or combine this with some other adventure activity
- Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
- Wear comfortable clothes, summing suit, towel, sunglasses and sun protection, mineral water.
- To preserve the safety of passengers against weather contingencies, the suspension of the service will be informed even on the same day of the activity, with the possibility of rescheduling or receiving the full refund of the money.

A Great Time for Our Family - We had an amazing time rafting with Argentina Rafting. The operation is really well-done. Very organized and safe. The guides clearly have a great time and are excellent. It is very safe with lots of instruction and safety precautions.

Rafting very fun - Experience simply amazing! Rafting with the Argentina Rafting was very fun, exciting to the right extent and, above all, extremely safe. The team is highly professional, conveys a lot of confidence and always makes it clear that safety comes first. The equipment is adequate, well kept and passes total tranquility.
Our instructor Léo was sensational!
In addition, the place is spectacular — lush nature, beautiful landscapes and a landscape that is worth the experience.
A special compliment to Manuel, who picked us up at the hotel and was impeccable from beginning to end: punctual, polite, attentive and always helpful, taking care of everything from arrival to return to the hotel. Made all the difference to make the walk perfect.
I highly recommend! An unforgettable experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Adrenaline Pumping and Wet - An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! The scenery along the Mendoza River is stunning, and the rafting itself is pure adrenaline—fast, thrilling, and very wet in the best way possible. 😄
The entire team was incredibly professional and clearly prioritized safety while still making the adventure exciting and fun. The group vibe was wonderful; too many great people to mention individually, but every single guide and staff member was amazing and added to the overall experience.
If you’re looking for a high-energy outdoor adventure surrounded by beautiful landscapes, this rafting trip is a must-do in Mendoza.

Floridians Rafting in Argentina w/Ricky - My wife has never been rafting and we laughed so much and had the best time!! Ricky was an incredible guide and totally made the adventure worth it. Thank you to Backroads for setting it up. I highly recommend.

Highly recommended - It was a wonderful experience. From communication with the office and the bus driver kept in contact with me before picking me up to All the guides and kayakers all very professional. It was very organized and included a couple english speaker for the ones that needed it. They made sure you had the right gear and knew all the safety precautions and then we had exciting time on the river, great group of people and business. Oh, and the restaurant is a big bonus great food and staff

Nice experience - Very nice experience. Perhaps a little flexibility was lacking in the afternoon as the rafting was extended a few minutes longer than planned and that took time away from lunch etc.

Excellent rafting adventure. - This was a great trip. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was due to the experience not completely matching the description. We signed up for an English speaking tour. We were picked up by the company and drove an hour in the van with 2 other couples, a driver and 2 guides. No one but us spoke English. The guide was providing information along the way but we could not understand it and felt we were missing out. Also the description says you can explore the town of Potrerillos after the rafting. There was no town. We finished rafting around 1 pm and the van didn’t leave until 3:15 to take us back. There was a nice restaurant where we ate but nothing else to do.
For the actual rafting experience- it was awesome!!! They are very organized and clearly have expertise in conducting these tours. We had an amazing guide, Blake, who ensured our safety and fun. They give a lot of safety talks before you go (about what to do if you fall out of the boat, etc) which freaked me out but once we got on the water it was incredible. One person in our raft did fall out but it was no big deal- she was able to get right back in. The rapids were so much fun and the scenery is spectacular. They have photographers taking pictures along the way that you can buy at the end for about $10 USD.
I highly recommend this if you will be in Mendoza.
