The Dark Memphis Walking Tour delves into the eerie and mysterious history of the historic South Main district, renowned as one of Memphis’s most haunted areas. Journey back in time with our engaging and knowledgeable guides. Participants will explore sites of hauntings drawn from local legends, official records, and our own expert paranormal investigations. This family-friendly tour includes true crime stories, murders, dark history, and hauntings. Beyond the glittering tales of Elvis, Johnny, and other music legends, lie some dark and unusual stories of Memphis’s shadowy past.

Investigation equipment will be provided to attempt communication with spirits at various locations. Be sure to take plenty of photos along the way to see if you capture any paranormal activity yourself! The tour covers less than a mile in total, with several stops along the route. It concludes near the Orpheum Theater, and participants can choose to walk back with the group or continue their evening on nearby Beale Street.
