Santa Maria Bay features shallow, clear waters and is located next to Comino’s charming little police station, which helps manage the boats around Comino. Occasionally, dead algae may be present on the shore due to currents, but otherwise, the beach is sandy and clean, surrounded by tamarisk trees that provide shade from the summer sun.

• Elephant Head Rock - During the journey around Comino, an intriguing rock formation known as Elephant Rock is passed. This natural arch, as the name suggests, resembles an elephant with its head dipping into the water for a drink. It is located on the east side of Comino Island. The seabed is sandy with sparse patches of posidonia, making it suitable for divers of all levels, with depths ranging from 3m to 18 meters. This attraction can be seen at any time during the trip, so have cameras ready!
