Do not miss this beautiful Village - This has a lot of history attached to it being the set they built for the Disney film Popeye with Robin Williams in 1980. Absolutely dreadful film but unmissable Village. Set in a Cove and the most beautiful cartoon buildings with fun for little ones. Beautiful views and an absolutely unmissable time.

Very pleasant day - We spent a pleasant day in the company of popeye and co. Very good actors, my daughter had a great time. Our visit took place in winter, probably in summer it is much busier. At this time of year highly recommended anyway.

A Magical New Year’s Day – An Unforgettable Experience - We had the best New Year’s Day at Popeye Village and it truly exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, the cast were absolutely amazing – the interaction was fantastic and they made a real effort to include my daughters, which they absolutely loved. We took part in a guided tour, which was really informative, and the dancing, acting and character interaction were all top-notch. You could tell how much effort and heart goes into making the experience special for families. The included popcorn was a lovely touch, and seeing Santa was an unexpected and very welcome bonus for the kids. The scenery is spectacular – the whole village is stunning, and honestly, it might now be one of my favourite places we’ve visited. A big shout-out to Olive’s cousin (Monica), who was absolutely fantastic. My daughters took a real shine to her and she helped make the day extra special for them. The only small downside was that the Robin Williams shrine was closed for refurbishment, but that just gives us the perfect excuse to come back again. Highly recommend Popeye Village for families – a truly magical experience and memories we’ll treasure. 💛

Good - Very cool set with free popcorn ,a cinema experience and for kids a cookie and a postcard,stsff were helpful.Tickets were about 16 for adults and 12 for children ,overall very cool experience

Everything you need to know before considering a visit - Amazing day out with the little one. It is well worth the 41 euros tickets for our family of 3 which gets you so many things besides just the entry. The actors were great and friendly. Even got to see Santa! While this place is probably most appropriate if you have children, adults would also enjoy a touch of nostalgia if you grew up watching popeye and enjoy the breathtaking views of the bay whist on site. For those who do not want to pay to enter the site, you can drive a few yards up the road snd park on top of the cliff where you can see the site and hear all the action from afar but you’ll be missing out on the fun of course. We cannot comment on the food at the cafe and restaurant as we did not consume any. But would recommend the Apple’s Eye about 15min drive down south with lovely food not so busy and fantastic views.

Enjoyable day - We visited Popeye Village as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 5 and 9) and had a really enjoyable day. Getting there was easy: we used Uber from Gżira and paid around €15, which was very convenient, especially with kids. The village is a lovely attraction, very well maintained and full of play and entertainment areas for children. There are many activities to keep them engaged, and the shows and live entertainment were particularly nice and interactive, with enthusiastic animators who really involved the kids. At the entrance, you receive vouchers for a free postcard and complimentary popcorn, which was a nice touch and immediately put the children in a good mood. Food prices inside the park are reasonable and fair for a tourist attraction. We also enjoyed the mini golf area, which is small but fun, and there is a nice little playground area right next to the entrance, perfect for younger children or a short play before leaving. Overall, it’s a charming and family-friendly attraction that we would definitely recommend to families visiting Malta with children.

We enjoyed our visit but... - It is in a beautiful cove! Nice movie set but the price of admission is a bit high for what you get. Worth going if you have a lot of days but I would skip it if you are tight on time.

Great beautiful tourist - So .. overall it's worth going, the water is wonderful, even in December, you can get your feet wet, it really offers everything, it's for kids, but the view is beautiful I repeat. I was excited? the first 5 minutes. The cute shop but those free postcards need an urgent refresh. For the rest to do if you have time to waste at the end of your trip.
