Informative and tasty - Carmel was an excellent and gracious guide. The food samples were delicious - fruit, oysters, cheese, bread, gelato. The reusable shopping bag is very nice. I recommend this tour; plan a few hours after to explore the market on your own, if possible.

Warm regards - I loved my foodie tour with Carmel. She was warm and friendly, and full of revelations. The vendors also were great, including those at the Chicken Pantry, The Epicurean, Curds and Whey, Benny's Fruit Corner and Geloso Gelataria. A great way to spend a Saturday morning – or any morning.

Not to be missed - Every time we come to Melbourne we rent an apartment near the market. It is for us European, one of the most beautiful and interesting in Australia.

Queen Vic Marley food tour review - Excellent tour with an experienced and super knowledgeable guide. We learnt so much about the history of the Queen Victoria Market, how it’s run in the present day and what the best food options are. The tastings delicious and generous which included oysters, kangaroo meat, cheeses, fruits and ice cream. Would recommend to all.

A great food tour - This was terrific! Amanda gave us a complete tour of the food hall, and customized the tour to just us. We had several food samples, including mango and macademia nuts and cheeses and some meat. We had a great time.

Great tour for foodies - Irene was an informed and interesting guide. We stopped at a half dozen vendors for tastings. All tastings were fantastic but we particularly enjoyed the St Helen’s oysters and squid ink mortadella. We also enjoyed the stories from the vendors. Overall a super experience.

11/10 Food Tour - Hannah was a fantastic tour guide, she is both knowledgeable and fun! I got to try a variety of different foods the QV market has to offer from delicious mussels to made in house gelato. This tour was both educational and tasty, I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is traveling to Melbourne.

Great host ..poor value - Mandy was a great host with fantastic insights to the market. We would have not had a clue where to go or what yo do with so many vendors. It was quite overwhelming. She introduced us to some very interesting stops and we loved the variety. I just wish there were more tastings as there are on other cities Trip Advisor recommendations. The price was unreasonable for the experience. NO reflection on our host as she was super fun and amazing. We have done food tours in different cities from Trip Advisor that we would definitely do again. This is not one of them as it is poor value.

Bandya Mama - love the Victoria market for its fresh fruits, seafoods, coffee. - A must visit in Melbourne, especially if you love food. We started from the food hall side and came hungry. Had the bratwurst, hot chocolate, and two dozen oysters – the Sydney rock oysters were the best. After that, we moved on to the main market area, which had even more cooked food that day. I think there was a Philippine event happening, so there were many Philippine food stalls as well. We were already quite full by then, but it added a lively vibe to the whole place.
