A great tour away from the city bustle - There’s a fair bit of walking involved so go prepared with a comfortable pair of shoes or trainers - and on a hot day take plenty of water / drinks. There is a cafe at the MCG but this is toward the end of the tour. Our walking guide Greg was very friendly and knowledgeable on the various sporting venues - the pace of the tour was just right and allowed plenty of time to chat and ask questions and to take photos along the way. Once at the MCG, we were handed over to David, an MCG member who was also very knowledgeable on the subject matter and a great enthusiast on the game. It’s a very worthwhile tour and would highly recommend it - whether you’re a sports fan or not!

Great sports tour of Melbourne - Ben arrived on time with a great greeting and as there were only 2 of us we had a personal experience which was second to none. As is was the final few days of the Australian Open, Ben took us into the event and straight onto an outside court to see a quarter final of the junior championship , followed by entry into the Rod Laver Arena where we saw match point of the mixed doubles final . So to soak up this atmosphere was great. Right place right time. Ben continued to show us around the AO and the information he shared was very good and enlightening. We continued on through the sports complex and he gave us a great insight into Aussie rules football. The highlight was then Ben taking us across to the Melbourne Cricket Ground for a stadium tour which was great. If you are looking for a sports tour in Melbourne, please book this trip for great inside knowledge, and an overall fun experience

Great sporting arena tour in Melbourne - Ben and Peter were greats guides, very knowledgeable and passionate about both sport and Melbourne. The meeting point was explained brilliantly via a video, and it was no trouble for me to add a couple of people to the booking. Highly recommend if you’re in Melbourne and love sport!

MCG+Sports Tour - We fully enjoyed the tour. The MCG tour was operated by an MCG volunteer. The 90 minutes long tour was worth every penny. You don't have to be a cricket lover to like this tour. After finishing the MCG tour, we met Ben for the rest of the tour which included the AO courts and the Olympic park. Ben was very kind and knowledgeable. He was very patient to answer all our questions. We highly recommend this tour. You won't regret it.

Take One… Not Bad - The first part of the tour was awesome! It was very informative and our guide was so friendly, knowledgeable, and even offered to take photos! The MCG tour was lacking a bit. Although our guide was great, we didn’t see quite a few things because there was a concert so they closed off a lot of the tour. If you do book make sure it’s available for the the entire grounds.

Great tour, wonderful guide, timing could have been managed a bit better - Our guide was Katherine and she was definitely a very engaged expert about sports life in general and tennis in particular as has worked in the Australian Open team for many years. I would totally recommend this. She left us at the MCG for us to participate in their own tour; My only reservation is with the management team at he tour provider. They had notified me when I made the reservation about a month ago that the time would be changed to 12h30. When it came time to go, I looked at Viator and the tour was back at 1 PM. A reminder to my WhatsApp about that change would have been so helpful. We left drinks behind that we had just purchased and missed the first 30 minutes of the tour.
