Great intro to the City of Melbourne for those short of time - This was a great tour I can well recommend to anyone - especially if your time in Melbourne is short. The tour covered a quick history of the city and visited some key sites ending at Victoria Market. The guide was knowledgeable and it was obvious that he really loved the city, the group size was ideal for a walking tour of this type. My only concern is that while we booked, and paid, with Trip Advisor, the guide didn't actually see any of that money and needed to rely on people's generosity at the end of the tour. I think there needs to be an explanation as to where this money actually went?

A Short Walk down Melbourne's Memory Lane - The walking tour of Melbourne was quite interesting. The tour guide Sam did a great job shepherding a large group through the City Center. He shared historical tidbits and pointed out a number of places (e.g., Victoria State Library) worth more in-depth exploration than was possible during the tour. The face in the black-and-white building was incredible although I was unable to get a picture quickly enough. Sam had a photo he shared and the fave was clearly visible. Great tour! I recommend highly to a Melbourne first-timer. At several stops, Sam's enthusiastic descriptions caused passers-by to slow down and listen for a bit.

A fabulous city overview, walking tour! - Our two hour walking tour was amazing thanks to our guide who was informative, great fun, and able to personalize the tour despite a group that would be best half the size. The range of sites covered was efficient and fun. While we paid for our “free“ tour, when we queried our guide, he assured us that we could use the fee towards tipping or receive a refund. Hoping that every penny went to him – our guide outdid himself!

Enjoyed revisiting Melbourne city and learnt a few things. - Very personable guide Toby. I was surprised that though I had paid $25 for the tour it was called a free tour and we were asked to donate although there was no pressure to do this. I donated a small amount which was all the cash I had.
