Setting out from Melbourne, we drove westward, experiencing the thrilling sensation of traversing thousands of miles along the Great Ocean Road. We will explore at least 6 most famous attractions: Loch Ard Gorge, Razorback, 12 Apostles, Apollo Bay, Kennett River, and Split Point Lighthouse.

Great tour. - Great tour. Hugh our guide was very informative. If you suffer from car/motion sickness this is not the tour for you.

Amazing views and our driver made it so memorable. - Hugh was an amazing guide and driver. He offered lots of history and tips to make the most of our Great Ocean Drive. He has a true passion for what he does and consider yourself very lucky if you get to meet him! The views were absolutely breathtaking and we even saw some wild koalas! It’s a very long day but he makes it very relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely worth it!

What an amazing day - It was a really great experience and a very well-organised day trip. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Our guide, Ray, was fantastic: very polite, knowledgeable, and he gave us lots of useful and very interesting tips about the places we were travelling through. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, which made the experience even better.
The tour was relaxing but still interesting, with well-timed stops and a great overall pace. I felt comfortable the entire day and could truly enjoy the experience without any stress.
I definitely recommend this tour and I will surely book more experiences in the future.

Fantastic way to see Apostles, so long as you like hours in a bus - Fantastic views of Apostles and a cute koala-in-the-wild moment too (we got lucky as was roadside as driving past). Be prepared for long hours of driving, including very windy after lunch - don’t eat too much lunch or sit down the back if get car sick, as some of ours found out! Driver/guide Hugh was great throughout whole trip.

Disappointing Trip but Pretty Scenery - Way too much driving without breaks. There were MANY vomiting children on the tour but couldn't stop anywhere. Couldn't go to the lighthouse, which was disappointing and not clear why, so had a strange, short half hour stop at Lorne instead and not enough time there to really do much? The worst thing was the driver didn't speak much english, barely spoke and was very hard to understand.

TOUR CANCELLED!!!!! - This is so absurd. Lol. We planned months ahead and suddenly they cancelled our Great Ocean Road Tour not even 24 hours before the trip. They could’ve should’ve informed us 2 weeks prior that the amount of participants were not met so we could at least look for another host for our Great Ocean Road Tour.
They want us to reschedule it the next day as if everyone’s got all the time in the world. Lol.
What a legend.

Disappointing Last-Minute Cancellation - We booked the Great Ocean Road Private Group Tour in Melbourne with Vast Group as a couple, and our experience was extremely disappointing. Less than 24 hours before the tour, it was cancelled due to “not enough participants.”
This is unacceptable, especially for travelers who plan their itineraries in advance. By cancelling so late, Vast Group left us with no realistic opportunity to rebook another Great Ocean Road tour, effectively wasting a day of our trip.
If a tour depends on a minimum number of participants, this should be managed earlier—not communicated at the last minute. The lack of planning and consideration for customers’ time and travel arrangements reflects poorly on the company’s professionalism.
We would not recommend this tour operator, especially if you are visiting Melbourne on a tight schedule and need reliable bookings.
