Surf Coast Great Ocean Road Day 1

Point Danger Lookout - Begin the Great Ocean Road journey here, enjoy the surf and spot surfers. Have morning tea and take a walk.

Bells Beach - Renowned worldwide for surfing, home to the Rip Curl Pro classic surf championship. Look for kangaroos in the fields. Enjoy the lookout.

Geelong Visitor Information Centre - Taste some local chocolate crafted with regional ingredients.

Anglesea Beach - Enjoy the view from the lookout over Anglesea Beach.

Split Point Lighthouse - Get a close view of the lighthouse and admire the stunning ocean views from the boardwalk.

Great Ocean Road Memorial Archway - A perfect photo opportunity with the arch in the background. Learn about the soldiers and the construction of the road.

Erskine Falls - The first waterfall of the day. Many steps, but the view is worth it. See the mountain ash trees.

Lorne Beach - Our lunch stop. Explore local shops, grab lunch from one of the many cafes. Walk or swim at Lorne Beach. A great playground for kids to enjoy.

Sheoak Falls - The second waterfall of the day. Enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean and road from the boardwalk.

Mount Defiance Lookout - Offers a fantastic ocean view along the road.

Barque WB Godfrey Memorial - Discover the shipwreck remains, visit the gravestone. Enjoy ocean views and look for marine life in the rock pools.

Kennett River - Spot koalas and parrots in their natural habitat.

Mariners Lookout - The best lookout of the day. Stunning views of the village, road, and ocean.

Apollo Bay Beach - Our destination for the first day. Explore the village, swim, and shop. In the evening, dine out or cook at the hostel. Visit a local pub for a drink.

Green Coast and The Otway Forest Great Ocean Road Day 2

Mait’s Rest - Take a morning walk through this temperate rainforest.

Castle Cove - Offers a great ocean view, adjacent to the Great Ocean Road walk pathway.

Yatzies - Lavers Hill is our lunch stop. Enjoy the beautiful gardens and watch for parrots.

Otway Fly Treetop Adventures - Spend the afternoon at the Otway Fly.

Fly between the trees and then walk on the steel canopy above the trees.

Port Campbell precinct and foreshore - We now head to Port Campbell to check into our accommodation.

Twelve Apostles - It’s time to watch the sunset over the 12 Apostles.

Shipwreck Coast Great Ocean Road Day 3

Gibsons Steps - Descend the steps to the beach to view two of the stacks.

Be mindful of the waves to avoid getting wet!

Twelve Apostles - Visit the iconic 12 Apostles. Enjoy the view from the boardwalk or take a helicopter flight (extra cost) along the coast.

Loch Ard Gorge - Enjoy two walks and a beach visit at Loch Ard Gorge. If it’s hot, take a dip in the cool Southern Ocean.

The Arch - More limestone stacks.

London Bridge - Visit the famous London Bridge.

The Grotto - Walk down into the Grotto.

Bay of Martyrs - More limestone stacks.

Bay of Islands - The final stop on the Shipwreck Coast.

Enjoy the stunning views.

Colac Visitor Information Centre - Pass through Colac, the largest town in the region.

St Paul’s Cathedral - Arrive back in Melbourne around 4 pm.
