Great Ocean Road - Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and a great driver. She picked us up on time at 6:30am. Our first stop was to get coffee and some breakfast. It was well worth it despite the tour being 12h. Our guide seems to know where to park; we seem to be one step ahead of the other groups. We saw and experienced beautiful coast lines, the 12 apostles, a hike through a cool rainforest, saw magpies, cows, cockatoos, koalas and lots of kangaroos. We even stopped at a chocolate factory and an ice creamery. Great ice cream with huge portions. Definitely recommend.

Beautiful place, beautiful weather - Guide, Jimmy, is experienced and takes time to explain the itinerary and the sights that he brings us. He keeps good track of the time and ensures all people in the tour group are not left out. Experiencing Great Ocean Road was wonderful with him as the guide. Weather this time is good too and I love the scent of eucalyptus tree

Book it! - I did this tour yesterday with Marty and it was exceptional from start to finish. Marty was an amazing guide who kept the energy high even with the early morning wake up call, providing great information about Australia, about two of its most famous animal residents (Koala and Kangaroo) and did all he could to make our experience despite the rain, wind and cold an exceptional one. Highly recommend this tour. We did manage to see two mobs of Kangaroos and about 5 or 6 Koalas along with all the breathtaking sites. Highly recommend.

ありがとうございました。 - The driver was incredibly kind and his driving was so experienced that I felt completely at ease. Also, all the other guests were wonderful people, and I had a fantastic time. I regret that my limited English caused some inconvenience. (Google Translate)

Great Ocean Road in reverse. - Our host Ann was very good, she went out of her way yo make sure that we saw Kanagarooos. It was a long day, but we saw the Apostles & 🐬 which was a bonus. We stopped at a couple of towns which were lovely & had the most amazing Fish & Chips. A very good dog, with lots of memories. 🙂

Not 100% enjoyable - 12 apostles should be definitely in the buck list of all those travellers who choose Australia and more specifically Melbourne for their holidays. The views are outstanding and truly mesmerizing. The day trip was basically divided into two different sections. In the morning we went to the 12 apostles and nearby attractions. After lunch we were brought to other places that in all frankness weren't really interesting. It is well understood this is just my personal and honest opinion. I say this because we went to a beach to see (from distance) some guys surfing. After that, we headed to other places to see kangaroos. We could spot them but from a very long distance. I even gave up on taking pics as they were too far away...pretty much out of sight. Nobody got off the van. Next, we moved to another place to see koalas. But...once again...we saw some of them (maybe two or three). But they were kinda hidden among the branches. In the end, we went back to Melbourne. I believe the first half of the trip would have been enough. We could skip the after lunch itinerary. Another inconvenience was the departure time. We left Melbourne pretty early in the morning. The reason we were told, was to anticipate and avoid masses of tourists. Therefore, we arrived at 12 Apostles national park at around 9 AM. The view was kinda spoiled by the haze. It would have been far better to arrive there a couple of hours later to enjoy more vivid colours and a clearer sky. As for the presumed invasion of tourists, to be honest we didn't see many of them. Australia is a very beautiful country but it is one of the most expensive in the world. Not many tourists can afford a holiday. Furthermore many find also difficult to travel to Australia because it is not easy to get there due to its distance from the rest of the world. Flight tickets are also very expensive. Actually, there is another inconvenience that is necessary to consider. Bear in mind that you won't be picked up or dropped off at your hotel. You need to reach the meeting point. Make sure to find your accommodation in the city center. If not, getting there on time in the early morning might be challenging somehow.
