• Maru Koala and Animal Park - Visit Maru Koala and Animal Park (at your own expense). This family-operated attraction features koalas, wombats, crocodiles, kangaroos, Australian birds, wallabies, Tasmanian devils, dingoes, emus, and more! (Availability may vary based on the Puffing Billy Train schedule)
• The Nobbies - At The Nobbies, visitors can observe the largest colony of Australian fur seals residing on the surrounding rocks. This is a fantastic chance to watch the seals as they relax and play on the rocks and in the water.

In addition to seals, the area around the Nobbies Information Centre is teeming with vibrant bird species. Many birds nest and feed on the cliffs, so be on the lookout!

Inside the centre, modern screens offer brief presentations about the life and habitat of Phillip Island. Here, you can learn more about the seals and birds you observed earlier.

The observation deck, a favorite spot at the centre, provides the best view of the seal colony and extends to Flinders National Park, where you might catch a glimpse of Western Port Bay in the distance.

• Phillip Island Nature Parks - Penguin Parade - As the sun sets, head to Summerland Beach and find a spot on the boardwalk. Watch as hundreds of little penguins emerge from the sea, crossing the beach to their nests in the sand dunes. Witness the world’s smallest penguin in its natural environment from viewing platforms and boardwalks. Enjoy educational exhibits in the visitor centre and the breathtaking coastal views from the Penguin Parade. This experience is sure to be a highlight of your visit.
