Meemure Adventure Tours - Kandy - The tour begins at 5:30 am from your hotel in Kandy. Please remember to bring swimwear and hiking attire with sturdy boots. Here’s the itinerary:

Day 1

05:30 am: Departure from Queen’s Hotel, heading towards Hunnasgiriya.

07:00 am: Arrive at Hunnasgiriya Junction and switch to a 4x4 vehicle. The journey will become more rugged from here.

08:00 am: Breakfast stop at a tea shop (self-funded).

08:40 am: Visit Corbet’s Gap for breathtaking views of the Knuckles Mountain range.

10:00 am: Arrive at Meemure Village, home to about 400 residents who rely on agriculture. Proceed to the campsite.

11:00 am to 03:30 pm: Enjoy water sports. A delightful traditional village lunch will be served at 1:00 pm at the same location. After activities, there will be time to relax.

04:30 pm: Village tour. Discover village life, culture, and history. Sample fresh sweet jaggery and fermented toddy from kithul palm trees.

06:30 pm: Option to return to camp or visit a rock pool for a swim or fish massage.

07:30 pm: Campfire and barbecued dinner. Enjoy stories and music at the campsite.

07:00 am: Enjoy a Sri Lankan breakfast with hot tea

08:00 am: Full-day hike to Narangamuwa Village. This challenging hike passes by Lakegala Mountain. Experience the customs of another village and have lunch there before returning.

04:00 pm: Return to camp. Option to revisit the rock pool or enjoy a few hours of rest.

07:30 pm: Campfire dinner with barbecue and music.

07:00 am: Sri Lankan breakfast with hot tea

08:00 am: 3km hike to Navarathna Waterfall deep in the forest. Enjoy a refreshing bath here.

12:00 pm: Return to the campsite for a final lunch at Meemure Village

01:00 pm: Depart Meemure Village in the 4x4 Jeep.

02:00 pm: Tea break at the same tea shop.

03:00 pm: Transfer to an A/C van

04:30 pm: Arrive back at your hotel in Kandy
