- Guatape - El viaje comenzará con la recogida en el hotel para emprender el trayecto por carretera hacia el municipio de El Peñol, situado a 69 kilómetros de Medellín. La primera parada será en la réplica del “viejo Peñol”, un pueblo que fue inundado para dar lugar a la gran represa hidroeléctrica que abarca 2.260 hectáreas de agua. Se podrá subir a un bote de aventura (boleto no incluido) para navegar por este impresionante lago y admirar los paisajes más hermosos y atractivos turísticos, como la finca de Pablo Escobar “La Manuela”. Después del paseo en bote, se visitará la imponente roca del Peñol, que tiene 220 metros de altura y 740 escalones que conducen a una de las mejores vistas del mundo. Posteriormente, se continuará hacia el municipio de Guatape, donde se podrá disfrutar de sus coloridas casas y su gente amable. Se visitará la “plaza de los zócalos” y el paseo marítimo de Guatape.

Fantastic experience - I did the full day tour to Guatape with Joshua. He was fantastic guide and was fully engaged and entertaining. Taught me so much about the local culture and history. Guatape is beautiful and I highly recommend the tour

Guatape day trip - The trip was great, Joshua was very knowledgeable. We went to the rock, had a great lunch and went on a boat trip. I would definitely recommend it

High Recommend! Best Tour Ever! - We went on this tour to Guatape with Camantour and it was the best experience ever! I’ve went through many tours around the world but Camantour and John our guide was awesome. We were picked up exactly on time the next day for our day trip to Guatape. We were greeted and welcomed by John once he arrived. The mode of transportation was very comfortable. John took us to the best recommended places to eat breakfast and lunch during our excursion. He showed us various points of Guatape which was amazing. He is very friendly, funny, knowledgeable and is bilingual! We had an amazing time at Guatape and climbing El Peñol. If you’re in Medellín and looking for a day tour, don’t hesitate to contact Camantour and make sure to ask for John! We will definitely be choosing Camantour for our next tour when we return to Medellín.

Great Trip Lead by Joshua - Joshua came and got us from our Airbnb. He was prompt and very knowledgeable. Spoke great English which made it even better! I would definitely recommend booking a tour!

Guatape - Guatape was an excellent tour. I’m learning Spanish so my tour guide Joshua tailored everything to my level and substituted English where needed. The hike is absolutely beautiful at the top. And the stairs are fun. It’s so unique. And then we went through the town which was vibrant and fun.

Great tour! - Good tour
The Guatapé tour was one of those experiences that stays with you. We explored the colorful streets filled with vibrant zócalos, learned about the town’s history, and enjoyed the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The highlight was the climb, challenging but exciting, with every step building anticipation. Reaching the top and seeing the lake spread out below was absolutely worth it—peaceful, breathtaking, and unforgettable.

Top tourist planning - Camillo is an excellent provider of tourism in Columbia. Especially Medillin and Cartagena.
He provided transportation, tourist attractions, restaurant suggestions, hotel accommodations. All his recommendations made for a stress free trip. His day tours are top notch!
I've traveled around and his company is one of the best. I'm returning Jan 28 for more. New review to follow!
