San Sebastián de Palmitas, also affectionately known as Palmitas, is a countryside division, one of 5 corregimientos, found in the municipality of Medellin and is just a 45-minute drive from the city. It is nestled in the northwest section of the city and shares borders with a number of regions: San Jerónimo municipality to the north, Bello municipality and San Cristóbal Corregimiento to the east, San Antonio de Prado Corregimiento and Heliconia municipality to the south, and Ebéjico municipality to the west. Palmitas comprises 8 rural districts, called Veredas, and an Urban Head.

Great experience - This was a great and entertaining way to learn about the history of coffee, while experiencing the process as you walk up the mountain. Lunch and the drinks you try were amazing and the horseback riding was coordinated well for all ranges of riding experience.

don't miss this experience - wow 🤩, I never expected such a divine experience.
Apart from the beauty of nature and the farm, everyone there was the best. Valentina with her beautiful personality made us laugh, she made herself understood and answered all of our questions
We learned everything about coffee and they gave us typical Colombian food or from that part and with stories.
In the end we went on a horse (my husband and I) I was afraid to get on a horse but I went on a mule and with a guide, my husband did go on a horse and alone, hahaha for those who are afraid they help you and give you confidence to minimize your fear a lot. In the end, an experience that we will never forget and we leave with a lot of knowledge.

BUY THIS TOUR - The coffee tour was incredibly interesting and the horde riding experience was much better than I could imagined. 10/10 experience!

Coffee lovers must do this! - From picking us all up where we were staying, to staging the initial information about what the tour would be about including coffee bean basics and separate language groups, to garbing up in traditional outfits, to "picking the beans", to grinding and drying them, to an information session about coffee of the world and how to choose it and brew it, to a delicious meal... With plenty of samples drinks along the way.
And finally a horse ride up the side of the mountain and around and back to the farm.
I appreciate and want to thank everyone involved, especially our informative guide, our driver, the horse guides and all of the supportive staff they had that made it an amazing experience!

You have to do it! - Excellent tour! The guides were very helpful, they teach you a lot and have super energy, plus the coffee, food, dessert and other delicious things! An experience that must be done in Medellín

Great cafe tour, nice food and sweet horses❤️ - Our driver Jorge did a great job, Emilia explained the cafe proces in good English, nice lunch and drinks and on top of that our handicap daughter got a horse so she could join us with the tour. We got a cafe present on top of this, thank you Victor, Emilia, jorge and the other two helpers with the horses.

Fun, interesting experience and super friendly staff - definitely recommend! - Really fun, interesting tour of the coffee production. The staff were entertaining, informative and friendly. Really good lunch, delicious coffee and other treats. Horse riding was fun too!
