A bit of a physical challenge but worth it - Challenging hike up the mountain for a 67 year old, but our guide, Lorena, lent a helping hand and was very kind. She presented all steps of the coffee process expertly and with humor. The ride downhill on pavement was at a slow walk but our wranglers led us safely over the slippery terrain/pavement.

Fun tour! Coffee farm was... - Fun tour! Coffee farm was cute and very interesting. You’ll learn the history of coffee while having a great time. It did rain during our horseback ride, but still a good experience.

Unforgettable experience at the La Arrinconada Coffee Farm - Paula from Aeroturex Agency was very helpful, always with the best attitude to guide and facilitate every detail of the stay. Very friendly and attentive at all times. The tour to the coffee farm “La Arrinconada” was great: we rode mules to the farm, we were dressed in typical costumes and we lived a phenomenal experience around the cafe. We also had a coffee tasting, learning to differentiate aromas and flavors, which made the experience even more enriching. This activity can be done in English with Cristian Cano, who was very friendly, fun and taught us a lot about the coffee and the farm; or in Spanish, with the same dedication and enthusiasm. To complete the day, we were offered a typical delicious lunch that made the day even more special.

Great coffee tour by guide Laura - Laura thank you so much for the great tour and enthusiasm! It was a wonderful way to learn more about Colombian coffee! The horse ride was nice as well but only went over hardened roads (the final part over the busy street). Not sure if this was due to the weather as the pictures didn’t show this. Nevertheless a great experience overall!

Great experience - This was so much great information and history about the coffee. Great experience with picking the coffee beans, tasting the different types of coffee. The horse back riding was cool, a lot of great views. My horse was hungry so it kept stopping to eat but the guys got it back on course for me if I couldn’t. It

Best coffee in Colombia - I managed to get some steps in while climbing the hills to pick my own coffee beans. It was such a magical experience learning how to tell the difference between good and bad coffee, as well as discovering the history behind it. The most thrilling part though was the horseback riding. I had never ridden a horse before, let alone through the hills, and even though the horse didn’t always listen, it was still incredibly enjoyable. I’d highly recommend this excursion to anyone

Beautiful Setting but Not the Best Fit for Young Families - Our family took part in a coffee tour and horse ride experience in San Sebastián de Palmitas and had mixed feelings about it. The location itself was beautiful, and we were excited to learn more about the coffee growing process in such a scenic setting. The tour began with a very long lecture about the history of coffee in the region. While informative, it was difficult for our kids to sit through, especially with little interaction or breaks. After a brief moment of picking coffee beans, we moved into another extended talk about roasting, which again was too much talking for young kids. The girls quickly lost interest, and we found ourselves struggling to keep them engaged. The horse ride, on the other hand, was a highlight. Our girls absolutely loved it and it added some much needed energy to the day. However, we were surprised to find that the horses and mules walk in a single line, and our family was separated with the girls placed in front and us at the back. This was especially stressful since it was our youngest daughter’s first time riding. Although one of the guides walked alongside her and she did fine, we would have preferred to stay closer together as a family. Overall, the experience had potential, but it was not the best fit for families with young children. With a more balanced format and a bit more flexibility during the ride, it could have been much more enjoyable.
