- Monasterio Santa Gertrudis La Magna - The visit will cover the public areas of La Catedral. The tour will include the cells, the nightclub, the halls of the old prison, the guard tower, the tunnel areas, the former soccer field, and Escobar’s escape route. Additionally, the area believed to have housed a mass grave and a cocaine lab will be shown, with explanations of the historical events that occurred there.
Local regulations may restrict access to certain areas without prior notice, but visitors can always explore the publicly accessible sections of the old prison, now in ruins. Some of these areas have been reconstructed.
User-added photos feature close-ups of the cells, the helipad, the escape route, the nightclub interior, the guard tower, etc. However, since June 2025, authorities have prohibited walking through these areas.
