Amazing Tours Medellìn - Comuna 13, Cable Car and Street Food Tour - Comuna 13 has come a long way and hearing its story made all the difference.
Giving a huge shout-out to Adrian from Amazing Tours Medellín for an incredible heart-felt walking tour filled with history, insight, lots of pics, (and some reels too!)
It's now a colourful, energetic and vibrant area packed with art, food, shops, and entertainment.

The tour was very... - The tour was very amazing full of color, culture and art, I highly recommend it.
The Yurley guide was very friendly and friendly. We explain very well the history of the place and the route of the metro.

Super - Super reliable
Good thing we booked the tour on our own would have been difficult to arrive, the guide well pending everyone that we did not get lost among so many people and the super explanation.

Comuna 13 Tour – highly recommended - The guided tour of Comuna 13 was extremely informative and extremely worth seeing. The guide explained the history of the area in a very understandable way and provided many exciting backgrounds.
Even taking the metro and the cable car to the top is an experience and offers great views over Medellín. During the tour you will get a lot of information and experience the Comuna 13 from a very authentic perspective.
The price includes an ice cream of your choice, a snack and a drink. In addition, there is a hip hop dance show as well as a freestyle rapper, which makes the tour culturally very lively.
Special praise goes to our guide Hector. He did a fantastic job, took a lot of time and answered all the questions in detail. You can immediately tell that he cares deeply about the tour and the history of the Comuna 13.

Great, informative and well designed tour - We had an outstanding experience with Royhel, our guide from Amazing Tours Medellín, on a comprehensive 4+ hour tour of the city. The itinerary was thoughtfully curated and included a metro ride, gondola (Metrocable) trips, and a guided walk through Comuna 13, offering both depth and variety.
The tour seamlessly combined history, culture, and lived experience. We sampled local snacks along the way and gained valuable insight into Medellín’s complex past and remarkable transformation. The street art in Comuna 13 was particularly powerful—each mural telling part of a carefully curated narrative of resilience, identity, and hope. Highlights also included an energetic breakdance performance and an impromptu rap session that brought the area’s creative spirit vividly to life.
It was a full, busy, and incredibly rewarding day. Royhel is young, enthusiastic, highly informative, and genuinely passionate about his city. His energy, knowledge, and storytelling made the experience engaging from start to finish.
Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic, meaningful introduction to Medellín beyond the usual tourist perspective

Good organized tour of Comuna 13. - This was a well planned and executed tour of Comuna 13. Our group did not use the escalators, and instead, weaved our way up the community through a series of stairs taking us to several viewpoints of the area, experiencing a dance show and a custom rap music performance along the way. We had several food treats and a drink. Our guide, Royhel, was excellent.

It was worth it. - The tour with Andrés was very good, he was always willing.
He knows the commune very well, explained everything to us very well, although it rained us we had a great time

Interesting experience - Thank you to Roger who was our tour guide. He made sure we were well looked after and provided us with lots of snacks and information along the way. The only downside of this tour for me was that it was super touristy and some parts of the Commune 13 were very noisy which made it difficult to hear our guide but overall it was a good experience.

Disgusted with this company - Today, December 15, 2025, I had this excursion on the calendar for 2:00 pm. At approximately 12.30 pm the activity was cancelled by the operator without prior notice. No alternative from other dates or times. This is the first time I've had this experience. I have been coordinating excursions with Viator and Expedía for years and this is the first time this has happened to me.
