Great Experience - Excellent Tour. As a lover of Maltese History this tour was a breath of fresh air. Giacomo dressed in an accurate Medieval outfit, and with clear communication skills, took us for a journey, in old Medina. This is a must also for Maltese people that want to learn about their history, and for tourists visiting Malta since this tours are not the usual tours that you will find in the tourists offices.

Superb story teller! - Historical drama at its absolute best. Immersive history lecture, architectural tour, or engaging theatrical performance? Any way you look at it, our tour guide was excellent on every front! He brought the medieval times in Mdina alive, and made the life, politics and intrigue of that time relevant to today. The very best! Thank you Giacomo!

Let Giacomo fascinate you with his engaging one man show about medieval Malta - This tour takes you to fascinating sites in Mdina where I learned about tragic and highly engaging 14th and 15th Century events told with amazing grace and artistry by our guide, Giacomo. He is a one man show with props and photos and costumes that are instructive and unforgettable. He showed us architectural details that I have never noted despite a hundred visits to Mdina and explained and brought to life a part of Maltese history well before the Great Seige that I don’t think many natives know very well.

Medieval Magic in Mdina with Giacomo! - We came back for Giacomo’s tour for a reason! After loving his tour in Valletta last year, we joined him again in Mdina this year — and it was just as brilliant. Travelling with a 2-year-old and a 9-year-old is not always easy, but Giacomo somehow managed to keep both engaged. His fun and lively way of telling stories has turned our 9-year-old into a little medieval history fan. This year, he was especially fascinated by medieval hygiene habits — which somehow led to a whole new interest in viruses and medicine! The adults loved it too, with so many interesting stories about Maltese and European history. Thank you, Giacomo — we’ll be back again!

Excellent detail oriented historical tour - A special type of Malta view, bringing a detailed snippet of its history to life, with connections to past and future. Reading a bit about Malta history in advance might help but it wasn't necessary. Our tour guide Giacomo was engaging and very knowledgeable. A wonderful way of experiencing Mdina. Ask questions! If in March, in the evening, dress well. Teeth chattering don't help the enjoyment, and I didn't feel like asking many questions that I would have otherwise, because I was cold. Giacomo communicates with the participants in advance, so you can ask his opinion about the weather. We also appreciated his tips on what else to do in Malta, tailored to where you stay even. Very helpful. Have some cash for a tip at the end, if you enjoy the tour. We were caught without and I wished I had some. It seems to me incredibly cheap for what he shares, all the historical details (he seems to be a total history nerd) and the length of the tour.

Outstanding medieval night tour – immersive, entertaining, and truly unique - Fantastic experience – 5/5 stars! A real highlight of my stay. The guide brought medieval Mdina to life with great enthusiasm, humor, and storytelling. The interactive style made it feel like being part of the story rather than just listening. The nighttime atmosphere of Mdina was perfect and added a special, authentic touch to the whole experience. What also stood out was the effort beyond the tour itself – he even followed up afterwards with additional information about the role of Germans in Malta’s history, which I found very interesting. If you’re looking for something unique and engaging, I can highly recommend this tour!
