The history teacher you wish you’d had! - If history teachers were as good as Giacomo, I’d have paid attention in school!! Brilliant tour, memorable moments, and seriously recommended. A masterclass in Maltese history, delivered by a Maltese guide who truly cares, clearly loves his job and country and knows his stuff. A Merry Christmas to you sir!

Mdina Tour 2025 - Hi Giacomo, I am really grateful to you and the brilliant experience you’ve offered us during the Mdina tour. I would like to wholeheartedly congratulate you for your immense skill of colourful animation and delivery while these are richly contained into a structured way of unfolding the Medieval narratives. An experience one can really benefit from. During the tour Mdina ceased to be that remote very old city detached from us by centuries upon centuries. Giacomo has the capacity to make the city bustle with life and vitality again.

Shocked by knowing these stories were actual facts in history. Not only the Maltese history. But gives an insight to humanities - The history shared was a specific five years in the 1400s, which were a chain of shocking events. It really ties up well with the same characteristics the Maltese tend to have throughout later history, like the Great Siege. As a local, I left having a deeper respect for my culture and somewhat concerned how I haven't heard these stories before and they are not in the general public knowledge as much as the other stories. The tour itself, led by Jacomo dressed in costume acting as a character in the story. From role-playing with the other guests to actually mixing up a recipe and medicine from the time. Where we could smell what they tried to use to heal from the plague. I will definitely be going to the Valletta tour also. The accuracy and Sherlock Holmes style of mystery-solving using history was fun and leaves you thinking if you could possibly solve it.

A Great Tour That Brings Malta’s Past to Life - I absolutely loved this tour. It dives into one of the toughest five years in Malta’s medieval history, and the guide brings everything to life by becoming a corsair and taking you to the actual places where it all happened. It was fun, super engaging, and such a refreshing way to learn about Malta’s past. Not the usual story at all. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Best led tour of my holiday. - Thoroughly enjoyable. Giacomo is an engaging host, leading you through Medina's dark and turbulent past. His contact with the people who book one of his tours is outstanding. If you are going to take in a tour of Mdina, make sure you take one led by him.
