Entertaining as well as worth knowing - Chris was as funny as he was elaborate and introduced us to the essential historical developments of the fortified city of Mdina, Rabat and Malta in an entertaining way that will stay with us for a long time. Highly recommended.

Don't miss this excellent tour with the best guide. - We first joined Chris on his walking tour of Valletta in September 2023 on a cruise visit. We said we would be back and kept our word. Chris is a brilliant, knowledgeable, engaged and engaging guide. He works hard to explain the history of his beloved country, and more specifically Mdina and Rabat (his home town) on this tour. It was made even better by starting at 4pm so it was cooler, and as the tour finished, the sun was setting making the local limestone buildings look stunning. The pace was easy for us (slightly) oldies and his English is excellent. I even forgave him for tricking me over the royal cipher on the postbox in Mdina (King Edward 7th, not Queen Elizabeth 2nd)! We can 100% recommend this tour, and especially Chris, and hope to be back one day for another.

An Unforgettable Family-Friendly Tour with a Local Expert - This experience is absolutely worth your time! Chris is incredibly friendly, especially with children, making the tour welcoming and enjoyable for the whole family. He was patient and engaging, even when the kids were doing their own thing. As a lifelong local, his deep knowledge of the history and daily life in M’dina and Rabat really shines through. His anecdotes and stories bring the place to life, revealing fascinating details we never would have discovered on our own. The tour felt very personal. Chris gave us plenty of time to rest, explore, take photos, and even pick up local treats along the way. A wonderful, well-paced, and insightful experience!

A definite must do! - Chris was wonderful. He was so passionate about Mdina and Rabat. We learned so much about the history of Malta and were given excellent restaurant recommendations. We went to one and had a great meal. This might be one of the best tours I have taken. Thanks, Chris

A Must Do Tour when Visiting Malta - When visiting Malta, make sure you have time to visit Mdina and also Rabat. This tour combines both towns. Chris gives such an amazing commentary about the history and current happenings as only a local born and raised person can do. Enjoyed walking with Chris. His pace of talking and walking was wonderful. He spoke clear, easy to understand English. Worth our time and money to do this tour. Highly recommend Chris and this tour.

A small group is essential - The Rabat/Mdina tour we had was booked via an independent agent in the otherwise excellent Seaview Hotel , Bugibba. Firstly the tour was far too big (more than 50 people) for a single guide. It included a “fill-in” visit to a garden then onto the Rabat catacombs. 50 plus of us together with other tourists already there made for an unpleasant, claustrophobic visit packed into some very small tunnels. Medina was beautiful and worth the visit but overall rather limited and poor info from the guide possibly because of size of her party. Not helped by her having to repeat everything in Russian.
