Experiencing Maltese like a local - This was such an amazing experience. Darren really is passionate about delivering the best authentic Maltese experience and really customises the iternary to suit you. He was brilliant in helping me and my father, patient and kind that he felt like an old friend that we never knew we needed. He knows the best stops for food, people, artistic experiences and the living style of each city. I highly recommend Darren, I think we would have not enjoyed Malta on our own but Darren convinced us this is the best place in Europe by far. Thank you!!!

Best Guide in Malta!!!!! - Darren was amazing. This was our first trip to Malta. We knew basic information about what we read online. Malta was on our bucket list. When we booked, he immediately reached out to us and got our input and interests. We like things off the beaten-path; try to avoid so many tourist traps. Darren designed the tour based on our input and his recommendations so we could maximize the time while not being overwhelmed. He took us all around Mdina, church’s, Rabat, Ghar Lisa’s and more. Darren coordinated the times so we wouldn’t have to wait. He picked us up right on time. Immediately, you fall in love with his personality- warming and inviting. Darren is knowledgeable and likes to get to know you and treats you like family. All his recommendations were spot-on.
In fact we booked him again but this time for an impromptu tour of Gozo the next day

Fantastic Private Tour of Malta with Darren - We booked Darren last minute while on a cruise, and it turned out to be one of our favorite days of the entire trip. From the very beginning, Darren was friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent communicator.
Having a private driver allowed us to see so much more of the island and go entirely at our own pace. It was the perfect way to experience Malta in a single day — you can spend as much or as little time as you like at each stop, or even change your plans mid-day. If you’re not sure what to see, just let Darren plan the itinerary for you — he knows all the best spots.
Our first stop was the stunning Blue Grotto sea caves, followed by Ħaġar Qim, an ancient temple complex dating back to around 3400 BC. We also visited a local silversmith who specializes in traditional Maltese filigree — delicate jewelry crafted from twisted silver wire — and a glassmaking studio showcasing Malta’s famous hand-blown glass.
The highlight of the day was exploring a city we hadn’t even heard of before: the ancient, walled city of Mdina. Founded in the 8th century BC, it still feels frozen in time, with only about 250 residents. Walking its narrow, quiet streets felt like stepping onto a medieval movie set — fitting, since parts of Game of Thrones were filmed there.
We can’t recommend Darren enough. If you want to see the best of Malta iwith a local expert, this is absolutely the way to do it.

Flexible & Friendly 2-Day Tour - We had two great days with Darren! He is friendly & professional, and he helped us design a custom tour. From Valletta, he took us all over Gozo and Malta -- churches, archeological sites, swimming spots, small towns and villages. He also picked us up and dropped us off at the airport. Well worth the price, and we will definitely use him again next time we come to Malta.

Book Darren! - We had booked with Darren a day before the trip and good thing we did! He responded quickly to confirm and ask for our interests to plan the route. Darren perfectly timed the trip so we could see as much on our list. He even took and treated us to the best pastizzi in Rabat! Darren even made a quick stop in Popeye’s village even if it wasn’t on our list so we can just see it. To top it all off, our daughter got her wish to swim in a sandy beach and had the pleasure to swim and play with his lovely daughter. It was one of the best trips we had in Malta with such lovely company. Book Darren and you’re guaranteed a good time!

Great tour of Malta (from Valetta; cruise) - Great tour of Malta!
A perfect way to see the highlights of Malta in a single day. For us, it was a relaxed experience.
From the Blue Grotto (wow! 💙) to the rugged Xaqqa Cliffs, wandering through the charming streets of Mdina 🏰, watching (and eating) fish in Marsaxlokk 🐟, and dipping our toes in the water at St. Peter’s Pool 🏝️.
