You get what you pay for 🤷‍♀️ - Our guide was nice and fun, but he barely spoke english so we were only able to decipher every few words. We were on a tiny rickety boat that felt every single bump. We were seasick, even after taking dramamine. We also got soaked by the waves, but it was too late in the day to be warm enough for swimming. We did see a lot of dolphins, which was cool. We went to the blue grotto, as advertised, but the tour was also too late in the day for the grotto to be blue, so it was just a dark cave. The "aperitivo" was cheap champagne - not a limoncello or campari, if that's what you were expecting. The pizza was cold and soggy. The people in our group were kinda odd, but I suppose that wasnt the tour's fault. If you're looking for a fun, photogenic catamaran trip with good refreshments and a dip in the sea, this is not the tour for you. However, if you just want to see some dolphins and catch views of Taormina from the sea, you may enjoy it.
