best view in the city - we were in mazatlan for a couple weeks and spent a couple hours checking this out and it was pretty cool. you take a funicular up to the top where we walked through the museum which has a video sort of showing the history of mazatlan which was neat, walked through a very nice garden, went through a long elevated pathway that goes past a huge birdcage and some iguanas and turtles on the way to the whale museum which is also quite interesting. there's a restaurant at the top of the building, I didn't have any food but the beer was a really fair price and overall just a great spot to enjoy the view and relax. I'd recommend checking it out for sure if you're in the area!

Observatories 1893 from the past to the present! - Great views, nice landscape, easy walking paths, good historical video to start before the cable car ride. The Mumba whale museum is so well done. Joyed thenrescue bird astuary. Nice bar/cafe. A great way to spend 2-3 hours at a reasonable cost.

Must-See Place in Mazatlan! - My wife and I visited the Observatory to see what it was about. We’re glad we went! The Observatory deck was a 360-degree view of Mazatlan, best in town (in our opinion). You can enjoy the views while having a drink. Great stuff. In addition, you get access to the whale museum, an exotic birds sanctuary, bar and grill on the sanctuary rooftop. We’d go back again.

You choose $75 cdn for two. - The first video was informative. The cocoa experience was very interesting. Noisy but colorful bird sanctuary. Turtle and iguana area had no water which I found odd. Lunch upstairs was great but pricy. Dinosaur exhibit was small but interesting. A tram ride up and down from the street.

Bad experience - They lack will explain better, we bought our ticket for the tour in the restaurant and lousy attention from the lady who sold it to us, she did not explain anything, neither where we had to start the tour nor where to get off, basically we had to discover everything on our part since she did not give us even a previous charge and ready, lousy service, would never return, the place is very nice but in the restaurant area they need more customer service, the staff outside restaurant very friendly.
