Visitors have the chance to explore Tsodilo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site found in the north-west of Botswana. It was designated as a World Heritage Site in 2001 due to its distinctive religious and spiritual relevance to indigenous populations, and an exceptional trace of human inhabitation over a lengthy period. It’s speculated that Bushmen created over 4500 amazing rock art on the hill’s enormous boulders. Tsodilo Hills features four prominent rocks that protrude strikingly from the barren desert landscape. The Bushmen have labelled the largest rock as ‘male’, the smaller equivalent as ‘female’, and the smallest one as ‘child’.
