The crew (Captain and Mate) did an outstanding job. Safety was emphasized and the information they provided was very interesting. The only change I would make is to add a snack on this longer tour.
You were very informative. The only drawback we could see was the length of the ride. But you have to remember, we are farmers and not eater lovers!
I loved the scenery and the info on the bay area. Can you go out farther some day? Also, how about selling ice cream sandwiches or something similar on the cruise?
Great staff provided lots of info about the lights and the river history. Thanks also for the cooler full of ice water! Despite the extreme heat, had a great time and I look forward to sailing with you again.
Great trip with awesome staff
Captain and crew were knowledgeable and accessible. The Sandpiper was clean, taken care of and made as comfortable as could be with the heat/humidity. The actual cruise around the lighthouse and former lighthouse was enjoyable and interesting.
The boat, trip and crew were all just fine but we really look for good commentary from someone on what we are seeing and the history.. all of which the young man provided but he had NO SOUND SYSTEM and had to shout and one had to be close to him or the engine drowned it all out.. fix that and not bad trip.. dave and bev pooley
Making reservation was easy, cruise was fun and informative
It was a delightful trip and brought back so many memories of Lake Erie, Turtle Island and Toledo Harbor Light. The Captain and his wife were pleasant making the trip enjoyable.
Lots of good info from the crew. I suggest you obtain a high quality nautical map of the river and bay and post it in a conspicuous place for your guests to study and be further educated. Check with the Great Lakes Museum for a source.
It was a beautiful day for the lighthouse cruise and all the staff and every person on this cruise was friendly and made this a very unique experience. I will recommend the Sandpiper boat to all my friends and family. Thank you for giving my husband and me this pleasure trip.
Prompt, on time. But most important, was the cruise, the info, and if not correct, finding out. The humour of you and Greg great, and that was very nice of your husband to take the time of shaking everyone's hand. Good luck, know we will do again!!! It was a awesome Bday present for my Mom!!! Thank you!!!
We had a nice time on the lighthouse cruise and the owner telling us some interesting facts was great! It was a little boring and it would have been nice to have some concessions available to purchase on the trip since it was a 4 hour 45 minute tour. Being we had not taken this cruise before we were not aware that we should have brought some drinks and/or snacks with us. When I booked the trip I was told that another email would come to tell me more about the activity. I never got that email or I may have known to bring something to drink or eat. During the more boring part of the trip maybe we could have done some activity to get people acquainted.
GREAT guide very friendly! Recommendations to my friends that didn't come
