We were under the impression that’s they take you right to the very top. But they stop shortly before the park gates and drop you off. I thought for the amount of money we were paying they could at have covered the park fees and got us right to the top. Staff was friendly equipment was nice and clean. Just thought it was a bit pricey for not getting to go all the way up.

Really enjoyed the tour up to Haleakala with Kimo. It was a very windy day and I think it would have been helpful to be warned about the strong gusts and how best to manage these especially for inexperienced riders. The bikes were fine for coasting downhill however one of our group had a flat tire and it required a number of requests to get help.
