With over a decade of experience guiding in Maui waters, the operator personally leads you into whale territory using high-performance sit-on-top ocean kayaks. This is a serene sensory journey: where participants listen for the rhythmic sound of a whale spouting and observe their natural behaviors—whether it’s the gentle bond of a mother and calf, the excitement of a competition pod, or the captivating song of a “singer.” Being at water level with these gentle giants is a truly enchanting experience that lingers long after the adventure.

After whale watching, the journey transitions back to the shoreline for snorkeling in the tranquil, calm waters of a turtle cleaning station. Here, participants will glide alongside Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (Honu) and explore the vibrant coral reefs.

Stay immersed in the magic; the operator will take care of everything else. As your personal photographer, the operator will capture high-resolution photos of the entire experience and provide them at no additional cost.

This is a personal, owner-led expedition guided by an expert with over a decade of experience in Maui waters. Unlike the large harbor boats with big crowds, our kayaks allow for a peaceful experience with the whales, free from the noise of motors. This enables participants to hear the soothing breathing of the whales and their enchanting songs, which are not possible to experience on larger vessels.

Encountering these majestic creatures at water level is truly transformative. Being so close to a whale, just inches above the water, offers a unique and personal experience that highlights the immense size of these animals. This guarantees a five-star, intimate adventure that larger boats simply cannot provide.

As the journey continues to the shoreline, participants will visit a turtle cleaning station, swimming alongside Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (Honu) and exploring the volcanic coral reefs of South Maui. Stay immersed in the wonder; the guide will take care of everything else.
