Your snorkeling trip in West Maui sets off from Kaanapali Beach. Be on the lookout for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, bottle nose dolphins, and during colder months, witness the migration of humpback whales from Alaska to our shores in Maui. The Captain will select the best places to visit based on the day’s sea conditions. Once immersed in the water, expect to see colorful exotic fish, honu (Hawaiian green sea turtles), vibrant reefs, and hopefully, more wild aquatic life. Once we leave our second location, you will be treated to a buffet lunch on the boat and given access to our selection of premium beers, fancy cocktails and other beverages as we casually sail back to Ka’anapali Beach.

Awesome and amazing Staff - This was one of the most rewarding experience. The staff was super knowledgeable and made the experience fun. We parked our car at the Whalers Village parking lot and our ticket was validated for 4 hours.
We saw a lot of whales on our way and our captain gave us ample opportunities to take pictures and also provided a lot of facts about whales which was amazing.
We had plenty of food and drinks on the boat.
I really want to five 5 stars to the staff. Each one of them made sure we were safe and were having a lot of fun as well.

Wonderful Maui experience - Best staff! They were so friendly and helpful. They made us feel safe and taken care of during the snorkeling part of it. We saw tons of sea turtles and amazing fish during our half day. On the way back we saw a baby humpback whale with its mom.

Snorkel sea Maui - Captain jen was great. Crew of Ben and Carrie worked hard to keep drinks coming on the hot sunny day. Definitely would go again with them

Top snorkeling experience on Maui - Extremely professional crew! They took timeto talk to everyone on the boat, were very knowledgeable, allowed time for whale watching, and snorkeling was great! They provide breakfast and lunch, which was all awesome food. Bacon, eggs, sausage for breakfast, and then some great BBQ chicken with pasta and ceasar salad for lunch. Photography on board thatdoes a great job too. Might as well just buy the photo package....you're on vacation after all!

Loved this tour! A great snorkeling and whale watching experience - We had such a great time on this tour! The crew and staff were all wonderful -- friendly, knowledgeable, and safety-oriented. We were given clear instructions for loading onto the boat, and we saw several whales on our way out to the snorkeling spot. The food and service were great, and the crew was very kind and helpful when a few people in our party got a bit seasick. The snorkeling location was great! We saw lots of fish, a turtle, an eel, and even a seal. Overall, a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience!

A Whaley Wonderful Time - As other reviewers have mentioned, the crew’s hospitality was first class. Each and every of them was exceptionally kind and attentive. We also had once-in-a-lifetime good fortune to see lots of whale activity on very calm waters and have the sun warming us up while snorkeling with the giant turtles. Couldn’t have been better excursion. I highly recommend.

Such a great tour! The... - Such a great tour! The crew was fun, knowledgeable, and attentive. They made sure we saw some whales and had a nice spot for snorkeling. Totally recommend! It was a great way to spend a half day in Maui.

Great crew that makes the whole trip extra wonderful - Our favorite excursion of the trip. We loved it so much the first time around made it a point to do it again on our second trip to Maui. The crew is great- very experienced, engaging, positive and knowledgeable. They make the whole trip fun, comfortable and exciting. We saw lots of whales and went to a great snorkel site. Plus the food and drink are great. We will do it again next year and hope Captain Carrie is our Captain again. She and the crew were awesome.

Amazing Experience! - We had an awesome snorkeling and whale watching trip with Sea Maui and a great crew. We’ve done several whale watches before, but James gave the best and most informative whale talk we’ve ever heard, so interesting and engaging.
The buffet-style food was a big plus with warm options (BBQ chicken pesto pasta salad, rolls, cookies) and lots of Caesar salad for me 😄. The drinks were flowing, and the bean bag chairs on the nets were super comfy.
Another highlight was the music…. upbeat and playing the whole time, which made the experience more fun than other boats where the music is off for long stretches.
We’ve taken Gemini and Trilogy before, but Sea Maui stood out for the food, seating, music, and James’s whale info. Highly recommend, we’d absolutely go again!
