Please note: This is a shore diving excursion. All divers must be able to swim, carry a minimum of 50 lbs, and be in good physical health.
*The in-water portion of your scuba diving experience (skills and dive) lasts up to 60 minutes, depending on air consumption and safety. The entire experience will take 2.5 hours, including briefing, gearing up, and walking to and from the ocean.

Experience the magic of Maui below the waves with turtles and the abundant marine life of our West Maui waters! When you Dive Aloha, you choose an eco friendly team that is passionate about the ocean. Our experienced professionals are PADI certified instructors with a commitment to safety for our divers and our beautiful ocean environment. Take your first magical breaths underwater and explore the reef. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver, we have an adventure for you! A portion of proceeds are donated to wildfire survivors and the forestation of the Waikoloa Dry Forest Reserve.
- Participants MUST stay below an elevation of 1000ft for 18 hours after their dive. Activities that are above 1,000ft include Airplane and Helicopter Flights, Mt. Haleakala, certain hikes, visiting upcountry towns like Kula and Makawao, paragliding, and ziplining.
- If I participants are uncomfortable in the ocean, unable to swim, or cannot complete the skills required, they may not be able to complete the tour and no refunds will be issued.
- Shore diving requires the ability to enter and exit the water with a minimum of 40 lbs. By booking this tour, participants certify that they are of good physical health and will consult with their physician prior to the tour if they have any concerns.
- Participants must be fluent in English, as our dive professionals are not guaranteed to speak any other languages.
- It is each diver’s responsibility to complete the medical waiver online, and if needed, obtain a letter of consent from my physician to clear them for diving. We are not responsible for diver’s failure to obtain clearance and will not issue a refund if they cannot dive.

You want to Dive with this Shop! - Sarah is an amazing instructor! She is uper friendly and personable, but also imparts the seriousness of the activity and a dedication to making sure we understood all the basics. She's very patient and understanding, very astute in seeing what you are and are not getting, and very thorough in providing you all you need to know to complete a scuba dive. I would definitely sign up for another dive and hope to get back and do that in the future. Thanks for a great and fun dive Aloha Maui Diving! See you next time!

Fantastic Intro to diving experience on Maui!! - We took the intro to diving class and was not disappointed! We included our 10yr old grandson and he loved it! A big reason was our instructor Debra. She did a fantastic job teaching us the basics and was very attentive to everyone under water, especially the 10 yr old! We felt safe the whole time! We loved the first dive so much we went back out for a second tank dive where we saw lots of fish up close and even a turtle cleaning station with 9 turtles!! We highly recommend Aloha Maui Diving with a shout out to Debra! What an experience!

Amazing Experience - Highly recommend for both pros and beginners!
My wife and I are already certified, but we wanted to share the underwater experience with two of our friends. The communication from the team was amazing every step of the way.
Our instructor, Deborah, was absolutely incredible! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very clear with her instructions. She even took the time to help my wife and me refresh our gear setup—it was great to get that hands-on reminder on how to properly break down and assemble everything. During the dive, we saw a variety of fish and snails while exploring. Whether you’re a seasoned diver or trying it for the first time, this excursion is a must. Thank you, Chris and Deborah!

1st Dive experience - Sarah took four of us on a dive, three of us who had never experienced this before. She was a great teacher and super calm as we navigated the process. She is a true professional and we had a great time. Will do this again!

Favorite experience in Maui so far! - This was such an awesome experience. We learned the basics about scuba diving and Sarah made sure we were all comfortable and knowledgeable before we fully submerged and went into deeper water. She guided us around to spot some rare fish and a giant turtle. I can't wait to do this again!

If you like feeling very... - If you like feeling very relaxed, this is for you. Being under water is one of the most peaceful things you could do. It's a place where you can slow down. You should know that it doesn't matter if you have zero experience in diving, instructor Sarah will make sure you have the greatest time. She is the greatest, very knowledgable and experienced that you will learn all you the skills you need in a short time. She will always take care of you and make sure you are ok under water, so you have nothing to worry about. Just relax and enjoy.

Incredible first diving experience with Sarah - We had an incredible first diving experience with Sarah! As beginners, we were a bit nervous, but Sarah was incredibly kind and patient, making us feel completely safe the entire time.
She made the whole experience so much fun! We saw some amazing marine life—including rays and a huge variety of fish—and even heard whales singing underwater! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide for our first dive. Highly recommend!

Worst experience ever with Sarah i ended up not diving at all because of her unprofessional behavior - Sarah is the worst instructor ever ! I have never experienced someone as rude and unprofessional.
It was my FIRST TIME diving and she was acting like i was stupid because i don’t know how to scuba dive even tho it was my first dive she even made a comment: “ Can you at least swim ?” Then in the ocean when we were practicing she was rushing as the whole time because she had next group coming soon. Mind you first hour we spent in a parking lot practicing theory then 20 min practice in water and the actual experience of scuba diving is 10 minutes..
Anyways in the water while practicing she made a rude comment “ do you know how to use ur hand have you ever used your body?” After I couldn’t get out the water out of my mask - which is normaln since is MY FIRST TIME and there was no need for that since i was really trying and then she did it very hursh aggressively hitting my face while pressing the mask as if she was angry with me?
Am i crazy or what i just paid her 400$ for 2 hours scuba dive whcih ended up being 10 min dive and 1:30 min explaining - MIND YOU I ENDED UP NOT DOING SCUBA DIVE only my boyfriend did it
Because i did like the way she was behaving towards me and i didn’t trust her to go into deep waters either her .
Overall definitely not worth the money if you go AVOID SARAH !!!!!!!!

DONT DIVE WITH SARA INSTRUCTOR !!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE ENDED UP NOT DIVING BECAUSE OF HER RUDE BEHAVIOR - This is my first time that i ever leave a negative review but i really have to. It was my first time scuba diving and my instructor was Sarah . She was unprofessional, rude, she didn’t have patience for me because she was rushing for her next scheduled booking which was in an hour. We were practicing in water and googols filled with water and i couldn’t get it out so she did it very harsh almost hurt my head the way she pressed the googols very aggressively and then she made comment: “ C’mon have you ever used your body what are you doing” and that comment was very rude and unnecessary since she knew that it was my first time . She was acting like i am supposed to know everything the first time of the scuba dive which is not normal to expect and she was rude and unprofessional. Her rude comments and behavior made want to quit and afer 1 hour of just practice i ended up not scuba diving because her rude behavior. My boyfriend still did it with her it was like 10min scuba diving if not less and he said that while underwater she was doing her own thing not even playing attention to him . He tried to ask her for help underwater for equalizing ear pressure but she was busy looking at the ocean corrals . Overall paid 400$ for the dive that was rescheduled 4 times and at the end I didn’t even go because she ruined the experience and my boyfriend went but still i am leaving 1 star since i wouldn’t ever dive again with instructor Sarah!!!!
