• Halfway to Hana - This snack shop offers fresh banana bread, shave ice, lunch items like burgers and sandwiches, and small snacks like fruits and chips.
• Wailua Valley State Wayside Park - Wailua Valley State Wayside provides a fantastic view of Wailua Town and the renowned “Coral Miracle Church.” From the overlook, you can also see the Haleakala Volcano.
• Waikani Falls - Known as the Three Bears Falls, Waikani Falls is a trio of waterfalls with varying heights. Despite the name, there are no bears in Hawaii. The nickname likely comes from the different heights of the falls, reminiscent of the Goldilocks story.
• Hana Lava Tube - This cave was formed when lava from an eruption cooled and hardened on the outside while continuing to flow inside. Once the lava drained, the hardened shell remained, creating a cave.
• Makapipi Falls - Makapipi Falls is unique as the highway crosses over the cascades, with water flowing from a lava streambed into a beautiful pool below.

• Wailua Falls - As you drive towards Kipahulu (Haleakala National Park), look for Wailua Falls, an impressive 80-foot waterfall. The best view is from the right of the bridge, but be cautious of other drivers.
• Pipiwai Trail - At Haleakala National Park in Kipahulu, the Pipiwai Trail offers a 3.5-mile rainforest hike with views of two waterfalls and a bamboo forest. For a shorter, family-friendly option, hike 0.5 miles to the first lookout for a view of Makahiku Falls.
• Ohe’o Gulch - A popular stop on the Road to Hana, ‘Ohe’o Gulch, also known as Pools of ‘Ohe’o and Seven Sacred Pools, features cascading waterfalls leading to pristine rock pools.
• Charles Lindbergh’s Grave - Located in a remote graveyard past Haleakala, this is the final resting place of Charles Lindbergh, the famed aviator who first flew nonstop across the Atlantic from New York to Paris.
