• Wailua Valley State Wayside Park - Experience one of the most breathtaking views on the Road to Hana, overlooking the serene village of Wailua and the expansive ocean. Facing Haleakela, enjoy a panoramic view of the Wailua Gap, a lush valley extending towards the crater. Count the waterfalls cascading down the valley walls!
• Pua’a Ka’a State Park - Want to tick “swim in a Hawaiian waterfall” off your bucket list? Here’s your opportunity! With two stunning waterfalls featuring natural pools perfect for swimming, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in water flowing from Haleakela’s slopes.
• Ke‘anae Point - This striking black volcanic rock shoreline extends into the Pacific’s powerful waves, offering a glimpse into Maui’s history. In Keʻanae, traditional loʻi kalo (wetland taro) farming is still practiced. Savor a loaf of Aunty Sandy’s famous banana bread (featured on National Geographic’s Uncharted with Gordon Ramsey!) while watching the waves crash ashore.
• Koki Beach - Marvel at the breathtaking beauty of ‘Ālau Island, a seabird sanctuary dramatically shaped by waves. Enjoy the view while walking along the red sand beach, and gaze at the Leho‘ula sea arch. Uncle Russell’s Huli Huli Chicken, also featured on National Geographic’s Uncharted with Gordon Ramsey, makes a delightful plate lunch to enjoy at a picnic table overlooking this stunning landscape.
• Hamoa Beach - A stunning beach perfect for body-surfing, Hamoa Beach is surrounded by cliffs lush with greenery. The soft, salt and pepper sand extends into the clear water, allowing the whole family to enjoy the waves without worrying about rocks!
• Hana - By now, your group is likely hungry! Fortunately, Hana offers several dining options. For delicious pizza with on-site grown veggies, Hana Farms is a great choice for lunch and fresh produce. There’s also a food truck park in town, Braddah Hutt’s BBQ Grill just outside, or the Hana Ranch Restaurant for an ocean-view meal. After lunch, head to Hana Bay for a wonderful view of Hana Town and learn about its intriguing history.
• Wailua Falls - Enjoy a refreshing swim beneath the 80-foot Wailua Falls! Surrounded by lush rainforest, this oasis invites you to swim in its cool, clear pool.
• Ulupalakua - As the day winds down, there’s no better place to watch the sunset than from Ulupalakua, overlooking the South Maui coastline. This peaceful ranch land offers stunning views and a glimpse into the unique cowboy culture of Hawaiian paniolos, who herded cattle here before the American West.
• Huialoha Church - The Mokulau Islets, a series of lava rocks offshore from the beautiful Huialoha Church, are visually stunning. The church was lovingly restored by the community in the 1970s.

With our Ultimate Package, your group will enjoy everything included in the standard Road to Hana tour, and then venture beyond Hana. It may seem unbelievable, but the scenery becomes even more spectacular past Hana. The highway hugs the coast into Kipahulu, where lush jungle is interspersed with magnificent cliffs that plunge into the ocean. Here, guests can swim in Wailua Falls, a magnificent 80-foot waterfall cascading into a serene pool. As the journey continues through Kaupō, the landscape transforms from dense jungle to windswept, rolling hills carved by deep ravines.
