A Great Way to Start the Day - We visited for the morning tour and highly recommend it! We were greeted with a homemade mango lassi (from farm raised frozen mango) and a history of the farm and the work Smita and Andre have done to move from abandoned coffee farm to regenerative tropical fruit farming. We finished the tour with a tasting of farm raised fruit. Definitely will return during mango season to taste all the different varieties they are raising.

Great farm tour of local produce - Friendly host, small regenerative farm. Mangos highlighted but has bananas, papayas, passion fruit, Meyer lemons, exotic types of cherries, cocoa, starfruit, dragon fruit, ice cream bean tree. Samples of many fruit which are in season. Host knowledgable about crops. Small store sells handmade clothing.

Fun, interesting and educational tour - We had a wonderful, interesting, educational and delicious experience at the Regenerative mango farm tour! The wife and husband team told their story about how they purchased the farmland, the mess they had to deal with, and their passion to keep the soil free of chemicals, pesticides, less water use and more natural fertilizer minerals that come from companion plants. Wow we learned a lot and got to taste a variety of delicious different fruits!! We highly recommend having this fun adventure!

A Must Visit During Maui Stay - During our Christmas Vacation my family and I (2 Grandparents, 2 Parents, and 2 Grandsons age 16 and 13) visited Maui Mango Mala Farm and took the afternoon tour conducted by very knowledgeable, friendly, warm and kind Andre. Andre greeted us with fresh Passion Fruit Juice. The farm’s commitment to sustainable, chemical-free practices is evident in every detail—from the lush rows and rows of fruit—some of the seasonal ones we sampled during the tour and of course got a huge sampling at the end of the tour where we met his wife Smita. 😊 We were truly impressed by their use of composting, crop rotation, and natural pest control, which not only protects the soil but produces richer and more authentic crops than anything from a supermarket shelf. To multiple questions by my grandsons Andre shared his knowledge and insights about organic farming methods. We appreciated the guided tour, where we learned how they integrate cover crops and companion planting to maintain soil health year-round. With our Indian heritage we are no strangers to fine Mangoes, and to learn that they have 25+ categories of mangoes on this farm was fascinating! Their farm store offers freshly harvested produce— all bursting with flavor. And of course we sampled them all!! Met Smita at the end of the tour. Sitting at the table and talking to Smita and Andre felt like we were chatting with old friends! 😊😊 What stood out most was the sense of community, making it feel less like a business and more like a shared mission for healthier living and environmental stewardship. If you value fresh, nutrient-rich food and want to support farming that respects the earth, Maui Mango Mala Farm is a must visit. It is not just a place to buy produce, it is a place to meet knowledgeable, very friendly hosts and come away with a feel-good sense of where food truly comes from!

Fun and delicious - This is a must do for your to do list while on Maui. Smita and Andre are kind and knowledgeable. Smita shared the history of farming on Maui and current farming practices. They care for the community (suggesting a best of list of local experiences) and the environment by choosing purposely planted companions to support the growth of each plant. Smita has shared in a way that has made me rethink my own garden. The tour ended with a tasting of fruit grown on the property while watching the sunset.
