Our vessel is a rescue style USCG approved vessel, providing increased stability reduced rocking motion, and blow your hair back fun! This small group trip is approximately 4 hours and includes 2 snorkel stops (one snorkel stop and whale watching during whale season) with preference to the island of Lanai reefs, where you may see tropical fish, turtles, octopus, manta rays and wild dolphins! We provide snorkel gear, flotation devices and snorkel instruction! Don’t forget your go-pro and BYOB ok! We provide non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Our small group snorkeling tours are locally owned and operated, your invited to make a Maui friendship on the water! Every ticket supports active local and global marine research and our efforts as part of the whale entanglement response team here on Maui!

One of the best snorkel... - One of the best snorkel excursions we have been on. Jill and Casie were fabulous! They were both very friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the snorkel spots. Unlike some of the other snorkel tours I have been on in Hawaii, Jill and Casie were very safety conscious for all of their passengers, ensuring that they had everyone each time after each snorkel stop. We really appreciated their hospitality!

I swam with turtles and got to hear a whale sing. My trip was complete! - I. Can't. Even.
I chose this tour because of the high ratings and because only a few companies have access to the island of Lanai.
This tour was completely amazing. It started off meeting in Lahaina where we got our gear. We then walked a short distance to the pier. (This area is recovering from a fire and the businesses here are doing their best to keep going. I didn't think twice about the setup or the walk.) Casey was awesome getting us ready for the trip and her friendliness just kind of spread through the whole group. There were maybe 18-25 of us- I didn't count. At the pier, we met our captain, Jill. These two ladies are quite a pair - they worked together seamlessly. They didn't even need to verbally communicate sometimes.
On our way out to the island of Lanai we saw few glimpses of whales, but we didn't spend too much time waiting for them. We arrived at Lanai and Jill told us about the area and how it's protected. There were so many colorful fish, eels, and turtles. It was truly amazing and beautiful. After our first snorkel we had a light breakfast snack with fresh fruit and muffins.
We then cruised to our next stop. Along the way, we saw a yearling whale. Casey put hydrophones into the water and we were able to hear the whale sing. The experience took my breath away! We learned a ton from both Jill and Casey about the whales that visit and about the research being done. They are both wells of knowledge.
Our final stop was near the pier where we would unload. Little did we know that we were right on top of a 30-year-old artificial reef! There were so many turtles, i think I saw 5 at one time. There's also a turtle cleaning station there - so cool. Tons of fish and other creatures. This tour was just fantastic - a must do for those that like snorkeling and turtles.

Amazing day seeing humpback whales, dolphins, turtles and sharks! - What an amazing day out in Maui! The crew was enthusiastic and fun. One of the highlights of our vacation. A smaller group and a fast boat meant we could go all the way out to snorkel the shores or Lana’i. We luckily spotted a few humpback whales, tons of dolphins (even a few bottlenose) and snorkelled with so many turtles. Bonus was seeing two reef sharks! You can tell the team is very passionate about marine life and it showed. If you’re looking to book a snorkeling excursion this is the best one you’ll find!

Great trip but a little crowded. - Boat is a little crowded, but the crew was great. We had great snorkel spots and saw whales breach! Would recommend

Absolutely recommend - Such a great experience. Lexi and Terry were so friendly and fun! The snorkeling was good, but the whales were incredible, and the spinning dolphins were such a highlight of the day. We made great memories. My teenage daughter had a smile on her face the whole time!

Fun day snorkeling on the lanai coast with dolphins - first time doing a snorkel on lanai . on the way to lanai we saw some whales but they didn’t stick around for more then 10 mins . we were going go to shark fin and the harbor to snorkel but since it was really rough waves we ended up going to the light house and only did that snorkel spot but saw everything expect turtles , and eels . on the way back was a fun bumpy ride the kids on the boat were loving it and when we hit mala harbor we saw handful of dolphins playing around . would definitely recommend for anyone looking for something different . it was a four hour tour but because we saw dolphins we went a little longer and it was 4-1/2 hour .

Best Day Ever - If you’re like me and you scour every review you can find before booking, take my word and just book it. We have two children (8 and 6) and the conversion to the Canadian dollar is not friendly right now. I was worried that we would be spending a lot of money for something that in the end wouldn’t be worth the cost. This was not the case. Chad and Casey were amazing and so patient with the kids. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles, a shark, and so many colourful fish. The kids have already declared it the “best day ever!”

Must do snorkeling adventure! - We did the Lani snorkel and dolphin watch. It was so AMAZING! The captains Jill and Casey were experts at navigating the ruff sea and made it so FUN! REALLY FUN!! Small boat size, there were 18 people on board. We snorkeled in the most beautiful bay off Lani. Calmer waters, absolutely beautiful fish and the water was so clear!!! The trip back to Lahaina was ruff but very much in safe hands with our Captains! Captain Casey kept looking around then zoomed back to the channel where she was notified of a WHALE! We saw it slightly breech and flip its tail!!!! What a beautiful sight! On our way back she found a pod of dolphins for us to watch. It was absolutely amazing! As we pulled into the boat launch there were two sea turtles too! This was one of the most fun and awesome adventures! I will definitely do it again! Mother Nature sure put us to the challenge with the wind, but it is so worth doing!!!
