PM33+3F Keokea
Navigate to Thompson Ranch Riding Stables and park on the side of the road by the farmstand. Do not enter Thompson Ranch as this is not our destination. A large white llama van will meet you there and you will follow the van to the beginning of the hike where you will park.

A wonderful and relaxing walk with a great guide and truly cool animals. - Delightful walk with a wonderful guide, really cool llamas, and stunning views.
Christine is an excellent guide: calm, knowledgeable, and a walking encyclopedia about llamas
Llamas are really interesting animals: shy and clean and smart
And the views from the trails we walk are world class

Beautiful Experience - We had a great experience with Christine and the Llamas Azriel, Kilion, and Sion. We learned about the Llamas before the hike. They make cute noises and easy to walk. The Llamas were gentle and we loved petting them. The hike was beautiful.

What an experience! this... - What an experience! this was the best decision I’ve made towards being able to meet with llamas and have a fun hike at the same time, I appreciate the time and communication from the coordinators and many more towards booking with them. Thank you!

Wonderful experience with knowledgeable guide! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something different to do on Maui - What an incredible, fun experience this was!! Learned so much about llamas from our amazing guide Christine and can’t wait to go back with family!! Beautiful country and a lot of interaction with these incredible animals. Had no expectations and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip. Love the outdoors, animals and adventure and we got it all in this adventure!!

If you’re looking to do something really different consider a hike with Maluhia lLamas! - What a wonderful experience all around. First of all it was a pleasure meeting Christine and Sam, the owners of the Llamas. They are both such kind, genuine and knowledgeable people. They made us feel comfortable and safe right away. Next we were introduced to each beautiful, gentle and well trained llama. We learned a little about each of their personalities and some of their traits as a group. Hiking with the llamas was easygoing and very peaceful. The views from trail were amazing! If you love animals you will love this experience!

Do yourself a favor, and book this hike!! - WOW— this was one of the coolest experiences I’ve had for a hike. If you’re looking for a hike that embodies calm, serenity, and a very unique experience, do sign up for this one! This rather “private” hike allows you to walk your own llama through some of Mauis gorgeous green lands. I was lucky enough to rent one of Christine’s Airbnbs that is located on her alpaca farm. I thought waking up with Alpacas outside my window was cool enough until I heard about her hikes with the llamas! She gave me a little behind the scenes of loading up the llamas and allowing me to groom them before we left. In all, do yourself a favor and book one of these hikes to learn about the llamas Christine has and invite yourself to get close and cuddly with these llamas!!! Thanks Christine!

Loved every second! - An incredible experience with these lovely llamas! We had so much fun learning about the llamas and taking them for a walk along gentle, rolling terrain. The views were spectacular! Christine was so engaging and really put us at ease with the llamas (they don’t spit!). It’s obvious that these sweet creatures are loved and well taken care of. Would definitely do this again when we come back and would recommend to family and friends in a heartbeat!

Unbeatable TEN Star Experience - As you can see by the 100% five star reviews this experience has received, it’s hard to describe how truly wonderful it is. Let’s start with the people who own and have trained the llamas: Christine and Sam. These are two incredibly astute, caring, Knowledgeable, and kind hearted people you could ever meet, and as a result, the llamas are equally astute, sensitive, and loving animals. Add to that, the amazing views and gorgeous landscape of Maui, and what we really have here is a 10 star experience. If you like animals, this experience is not to be missed. I think the photographs on the website say it all, but just walking along with these elegant and sweet llamas during the pre-sunset hour, is a memory I will carry with me to the end of my days. Honestly, I can hardly wait to do it again.
I booked this experience as a birthday present for two of my closest friends, and I don’t think anything could’ve topped it. TEN stars!!
