Not far from halfway, we reach the Ke’anae Peninsula, known for its unparalleled Maui panoramas. Our mid-journey break is at one of the best pit stops en route, aptly named the Halfway to Hana Stand. This place lets you relish some ice cream and a wide assortment of the tastiest banana bread available on-island. The excursion concludes at a concealed beach frequented by many green sea turtles, with 60 turtles being my personal all-time count.
