- Haleakalā National Park - Experience the breathtaking beauty of a sunrise from the summit of Haleakalā. Following this awe-inspiring moment, there are two stops within the park: a historic site and a secondary visitor center. Visitors will embark on a self-guided tour starting at the 6,500-ft. level, just outside the National Park entrance. Enjoy an exhilarating 15-mile bike ride down the volcano at your own pace, without the constraints of a group or convoy. Delight in the famous “Fabulous 29 switchbacks.” Afterward, a shuttle will transport you through Upcountry Maui to a spot just above Makawao Town. Cycle through the charming Upcountry Town of Makawao and continue biking back to Haiku. Guests can savor a “No Host Breakfast” in either Makawao or Haiku.

A different world up top! - Dan is an excellent guide! Very knowledgeable, and loaded with some very clever ‘DadJokes’ to keep it flowing. It’s colder up top than you think, but be prepared and enjoy a once in a lifetime experience!!

Haleakalā sunrise and self guided bike tour - There was a major accident in the morning and a road was closed off. The driver had to make up some time going up the mountain in order for us to catch the sunrise. He was Amazing! The weather gear they provide for you runs on the large side. It worked perfectly but still dress warm. Gloves are a best bet.
The view….. incredible!! Truly truly something for the bucket list. Highly recommend! The chant they do to welcome the sun was simply beautiful.

Once in a Lifetime Experience with Scenic Views - Overall this was a great experience with incredible scenic views and breathtaking moments. Our desire to experience a sunrise at the top of Haleakala Volcano required us to be at our meeting point at 3am but well worth it. Our tour guide Eddie, made the tour entertaining with his knowledge, stories and the local history, which kept all of us entertained. He also took some awesome pictures of us looking like we were falling out of the sky, while we were waiting for our bikes. As we watched the sunrise at the top of Haleakala, we felt a connection with the large group of people gathered for this spectacular and unique experience that we shared. In that moment, we felt a little more connected in watching the sun rise from the volcano depths among the clouds and it felt surreal how the night changes to day in minutes. Our ride down the volcano was full of breathtaking views at every turn. The only issue we did not expect, was that the ride is now broken into 2 segments. The first 7 miles around the volcano and then a required reload and restart for another segments about 8-10 miles later due to part of the road no longer being available for bikes. But, you can opt to just do the sunrise, or just the first part of the ride. The second part of the ride takes place through small towns with more local traffic but still fun to finish. We did the full ride and felt it was a once in a lifetime experience to do this with Haleakala as the backdrop.

Loved this Bike Ride - Trip was amazing! Sunrise was gorgeous! Bike ride was fun - we switched to a guided tour and the tour guide was very helpful!

Totally worth it! - It was amazing, totally worth getting up at 2:30 am. Cole was amazing, who knew you could be so awake that early. He gave us tons of info in a really fun way!

Not reliable. - Don’t count on this company. Fine print says they can cancel if they don’t enough people…..find a more reliable charter company that understands sometimes the have to just make it work even if that means not making the money they expected.
