Before crafting your cheese board, you’ll have the opportunity to create a mini board to practice the resin art techniques taught in the class.
We’ll cover:
- Gloves, aprons, and other PPE provided
- Safety and preparation guidelines
- Techniques for measuring, mixing, coloring, and pouring resin
- Selecting the right pigments and blending colors
- Using a heat gun and torch effectively
- Preparing your board: cleaning, taping, leveling
- Finishing your pieces with a professional touch
- Caring for your new serving ware
What you’ll create:
You’ll design a cheese board (feel free to bring your own shape to showcase in your home). Additionally, you’ll craft a mini cheese board. Your serving ware set will require 24 hours to cure and will be available for collection the following day.

Small group classes ensure each student receives personal attention. No prior art skills are necessary! By the end of the masterclass, participants will create a stunning piece of art they will be proud to display or gift. It will serve as a lasting reminder of a wonderful time on Maui.
The program covers all aspects of working with epoxy resin and paints. Participants will explore composition, analyze color combinations, select favorite palettes, and master various techniques and effects of epoxy painting. Each person will take home their unique creation (after a 24-hour drying period), with all materials provided.
A positive mood and festive atmosphere are guaranteed!
We exclusively use non-toxic epoxy (when used as directed) that is safer for health compared to other resins. It contains no VOCs, fumes, or solvents, is non-flammable, non-hazardous, and conforms to ASTM D4236 (Safe for Home Use when used in a well-ventilated area).
The workshop lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
