An unforgettable snorkeling adventure in Maui - Snorkeling with Robbie was the highlight of our family trip to Maui. Our family of 5, including our 3 teenagers, had an absolute blast. We saw so many sea creatures: three turtles (including a little one), a sea urchin, a pin cushion starfish, a leopard eel, a school of fish and an octopus. Robbie took lots of amazing photos and videos for us. He made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water. I am so glad we booked this experience.

We had a great time on... - We had a great time on our group tour! There were 10 people total. Joe took us out on a cloudy day and it was a perfect activity to do given the weather. He was very knowledgeable and you can tell he has experience with diving and the local wildlife. He showed us sea turtles, a reef shark, an octopus, a sea star and urchins! It was a great time! We were originally booked at 12:30, but ended up going at 10:30 and it was definitely better. The water was clearer and more animals were out and about at that time. Great activity for a solo traveler, couples and families! Def support this small local business! You will have a much better experience than the larger boat group tours!

Great snorkel experience for teens and adults - Aloha! We had a great time with Robbie of Zephyr Maui on the Turtle Town Snorkel tour. My 14 yo son and I jumped into the 830a tour and had a nice 10-15 min snorkel out to the turtle cave, and saw lots of cool coral and fish en route. Two turtles swam out of the cave and we followed the second one for a few photos. There was also a reef shark that my son saw (he dove down to get a look). In addition, Robbie showed us a sea star and a small octopus. The guide was knowledgeable and briefed us on safety and respect of the cove and wildlife. Safety—The guide had a boogie board that you could grab if you wanted to take a small rest. Outside the cave, we were is maybe 30 ft deep water, but it was easy to float when I wasn’t swimming. It was a bit wavy (winter breezes), so the early AM was a good choice as the wind (and waves) pick up as the day goes on. That said, if you can’t swim, I think it’s not the right trip, unless you practice a mask and snorkel in your hotel pool. They provide life vests so it’s safe to go and just kick your fins, but it would be hard if the swimmer gets nervous. That said, Robbie was so kind and accommodating to all levels. Other details - The tour starts close to Makena Landing Beach (about a 10 min drive south of South Kihei/Kam III Beach area). It’s a quick drive in the early AM. Bring a towel and flip flops. You can store you keys/beach bag in the tour van, as your leave every 30 min, so I think there is always a guide prepping the next group with gear. In summary, we highly rate this tour! We now feel confident to go back on our own to this cove to explore further. It’s a beautiful spot. Mahalo Robbie, as well as Melissa (on the sales team in Kihei in the food truck area).
