Guided tour of the Sassi of Matera at sunset - Walk in the sunset lights with Luca among the Sassi of Matera, including a rock church and a typical Casa Grotta. Very interesting and also funny. Luca is an experienced guide and knows how to involve the group. Highly recommended

Excellent - At the beginning a little hesitant as the duration of the visit was 2 hours , and I did not believe that my 8-year-old son would be fascinated, fortunately also thanks to the guide that fully involved him the 2 hours have passed pleasantly, I recommend this guide that explains the real Matera and from great advice, important to have comfortable shoes.

Highly recommended tour! - Wonderful tour that allows you to know and better understand the history of that absolutely indescribable jewel that is the city of Matera. Luca is one of the most knowledgeable and engaging guides I have met in many years of school trips (I am a teacher). Being able to excite young and old in equal measure is a rare and precious gift. The tour is called Matera by night, because it leaves in the late afternoon, but of course, depending on the time of year, it could happen to end with darkness, sunset or the sun all in all still high. It was my first tour booked with Viator and I was more than satisfied. A wonderful experience!

Great tour - Good organization.
Pleasant and interesting tour of the Sassi, accompanied by a Guide, Luca, able to transmit us a unique passion for the history, culture and traditions of Matera.
The descriptions were detailed and exciting, making the tour an immersive experience.
I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to visit Matera and discover its most hidden secrets!

Recommendation to everyone to go - City to visit absolutely but deserves at least a full day x which I Recommendation the evening guided tour with stop in the city the same evening and visit the city the next day at least in the morning

Disappointing - Although it was a nice tour, I booked a tour called Matera at Night. And it wasn't like that. The tour ended at 7 pm with the sun high in the sky. (The photo is from the end of the tour) I had to wait 2 hours for it to get dark and see Matera at night on my own.
