This trip seems like a... - This trip seems like a long time being 12-14 hours but it is worth it and the time passes quickly. We had a great guide who added a couple of other stops in to break the journey

Full day trip with Irfan - Our driver & guide, Irfan, picked us up from the hotel in Kandy at the stablished time and we started our trip to Dambulla. On our way he took us to a nice buffet restaurant so we could have breakfast. Once finished we continued driving and stopped in Matale to visit Sri Muthumari Temple, which was not planned and turned out to be beautiful. We continued and visited the Cave Rock Temple in Dambulla and in our way out we stopped to see the golden Buda which is a few minutes away. Next we visited a spice garden where they told us about ayurvedic culture and showed us some spices and their use. We continued to Sigiriya, Irfont went with us to buy the tickets and while we visited the park he waited for us outside. From Sigiriya we headed to Polannaruwa but before arriving we stopped to have lunch at a buffet he recommended which had local dishes and was really good. After lunch we continued the drive to Polannaruwa ancient city and he drove us inside the park to visit the different ruins. Through out the entire trip he was very attentive to us and what we needed, he often offered to take pictures from us and gave us reccomendations about what we should not skip during our visits and it turned out he spent more hours with us than what we had arranged. We also where able to see many animals which made the trip even better. We highly recommend this tour, if you book this tour or any other and Irfan is your driver & guide, you should feel very lucky.

Can't fault! - I went as a female solo traveller as my partner was sick. I was slightly nervous travelling alone, but my driver, Irfan, was very helpful and made sure I understood where I needed to go, etc. On the journey we stopped for breakfast at a clean and very affordable buffet restaurant. We spotted several wild animals on the trip and Irfan made sure i was able to get a good look before moving on. We stopped at a fruit stand where I enjoyed a fresh mango and was treated very kindly by the stall owner. I never felt rushed at any of the sites. On the drive, Irfan gave me lots of insights into the local culture and religious practices which was super interesting! The sites themselves are amazing- Sigariya is absolutely awe-inspiring, especially. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Looked cool, so I booked it. Didn’t disappoint. - Great experience! I had a wonderful day Mr Shamin was a fantastic guide. I have been living in SE Asia for 3 years, so temples are not as exciting to me anymore, but Dambulla was so unique, I am very glad I went. Pollanaruwa was amazing, and the climb up Sigiriya was exhilarating. Not for those afraid of heights! You don’t have to go up to enjoy it though and there’s lots of exits out if you get tired, or have gone far enough.

Excellent tour experience - Booking through Aaliya tours was the best decision we made! Our first driver Irfan looked after us from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya. He was super professional, knowledgeable and fun! We had a great time, good conversation and learned a lot! He was very flexible and had some great ideas for things to check out along the routes. Aaliya Tours was also able to accommodate our last minute requests for transfers due to the trains not running after the cyclone. The coordinators are great about communicating with us daily to share information and to check in on our experience. Our trip isn't over yet. We have a couple more transfers left and we anticipate the same level of professionalism from our next drivers! Thank you so much Aaliya tours for helping to make our trip to Sri Lanka memorable!

Day trip from Kandy to dumbulla and sigiriya - We enjoyed the day, although the trip was a little long for us we didn’t actually climb any of the steps at the attractions as itwould’ve been too much for us but we enjoyed everything we saw and the trip was worthwhile
