- Knuckles - The High Knuckles trek is our most challenging trek, ideal for fit and capable trekkers. There are 2 or 3 variations of this trek, ranging from 14km to 22km. The High Knuckles trek ascends from 1100 meters to 1869 meters.
Our driver will transport you to Welikanda, where you will be guided by our authorized guide who will answer any questions. You will receive a rucksack containing leech socks, a towel, water, a packed lunch, a plastic raincoat, an umbrella, and a hat. We will transport you to the starting point.
The guide will then lead you through the tea estates and cloud forest, breaking through the cloud line to reveal some spectacular views over the Knuckles Mountains, eventually reaching the summit of the Knuckles Mountains, the highest point in the National Park.
Along the way, there will be an opportunity to stop for lunch. You will then return to base camp for collection back to the hotel.
