For this excursion, guests will be picked up from their hotel area by our air-conditioned bus. The first stop is at Spili village, where visitors can experience a completely traditional village, famous for its lion-head fountains located in the center. Strolling along its cobbled streets, guests can explore tourist shops filled with traditional Cretan products. The next destination is the amphitheatrically built village of Agia Galini, where there will be 2 hours to explore. Following this, the tour proceeds to Matala, offering 3 hours of free time to enjoy the golden sandy beach. Matala is renowned not only for its stunning beaches but also for its artificially carved caves dating back to the Minoan period. These caves were later inhabited by a hippy commune in the late 60s and 70s. Many musicians, including Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens, have composed songs about the beauty of Matala. The bus will then return guests to their hotel, concluding this wonderful excursion.
