• 491 Great Oak Rd - Upon our meeting, I’ll provide a brief land-based lesson and review the basics of water safety, and discuss the body of water we will be on. Then we will launch our paddle boards and start to get comfortable maneuvering them on the water. After the initial instruction and everyone has gained their sea legs I’ll take you on a tour of the area and we will go in search of the ice cream boat. During our time I’ll continue to provide feedback on your paddle boarding technique so that you’ll gain further confidence. You will have time to swim, play, pose for pictures and explore before we journey back to our meeting spot.

Ever wondered how you can enjoy ice cream while paddle boarding on the water? Thanks to Kool Beans Ice Cream Boat on Waquoit Bay, now you can! This unique experience combines two of the best summer activities by offering ice cream socials on a SUP! Participants will gather at Great River Boat Ramp in Mashpee and paddle board or kayak to the Kool Beans Ice Cream Boat. There, they can choose from a variety of delicious ice cream treats, iced coffee, or frappuccinos to savor on the board. It’s a fantastic way for families and friends to spend quality time together on the water, while taking in the stunning scenery Cape Cod is famous for. Participants will have the chance to see salt marshes, coastal birds, aquatic life, and local oyster farms. There will also be ample time for exploration and fun. All skill levels and ages are welcome, including beginners. Younger children can join a parent and must wear a life jacket.
