Great Way to See Surrounding Areas of Granada - This was a great way to see three really cool stops near Granada as a solo traveler! The guides were very kind and informative. The Puma Trail offered great views and a look at the burnt trees from acid rain. We also visited a pottery school and got a step by step show of how the traditional pottery is made. The Apoyo Lake stop was really nice too, and you should definitely bring a bathing suit to change into. The beach resort they take you to offers paddle boarding and kayaking included in the tour price. Great day!

Danny's Tours make weekend jaunts a breeze! - My wife and I completed 5 or 6 tours with Danny and his team while in Granada for a month. We were working remotely and Danny made it a breeze to plan weekend jaunts. Danny is super responsive and will help you plan custom itineraries easily. We really recommend!

Service does not get better than this! - Excellent service. What a nice guy. Can’t say enough but when we got rained out Danny quickly adjusted plan and schedule and made a great experience for me. And he can customize any nicaragua experience to fit budget and schedule. Will definitely use them again!

Beautiful trail - Danny picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the Mombacho volcano where they set us up with a local guide with whom we did the trail. We choose the Puma trail, the longest one, which is quite challenging but totally worth it. The cloud forest is beautiful and the views from the volcano are very nice. We also got a transfer from Granada to San Juan del Sur with Danny which went smoothly.

Cloud forest and vistas with Danny’s Tours - Danny set us up with Byron and Birman for this tour of the Mombacho volcano, the first of our two stops with Danny’s Tours for the day.
Byron is a fantastic guide, thoughtful and passionate about sharing Nicaragua’s natural beauty with us. Birman kept us safe and comfortable in the car on the drive to and fro.
After a stop at the coffee farm enroute for a quick sip and a look at the cicadas, we proceeded up the dormant volcano in a large truck.
All three hikes leave from the same mountaintop station. We did the shortest 1-1.5 hr hike, spotting hummingbirds, flowers and lush flora everywhere as we trekked through the cloud forest.
The lookout point 3/4 of the way through is well-worth the detour — the foliage flattens out and extends into a broad vista of Granada and Lake Nicaragua. In April the path was filled with yellow and orange flowers.
We returned down the way we came up, and met back up with Birman to drive to our next stop, Lake Arroyo for an afternoon of swimming, snacking and paddling in the lake formed from a former volcano crater.
Many thanks to Danny’s Tours for a memorable and beautiful day!

Best local views ever! - I am just returning from a trip to Nicaragua. This is an amazing, astonishing country with wonderful people and absolutely delicious food. I was traveling alone as a single female and was nervous about that. Danny picked me up from the airport which was a great relief to me. Danny's tours worth every penny. What I saw in one day would have taken me three days if I had been traveling on a bus. It was worth it to pay to have a guide show me the most amazing sights. Danny also knows just about everyone so he gets special treatment for his clients. Volcán Mombacho, super high crater view of Laguna Apoyo, Nahuatl speaking village of Catarina, cattle country of Lado De Mombacho and Aguas termales in a very remote Village without any tourists and seeing monkeys while doing so. I plan to visit again next time with my son and will definitely call Danny!
